Reviewed By IanrdochertyWhat a fantastic find, we were unable to get through the tunnel to Chamonix during our recent motorcycle trip as it was closed for maintenance, bad weather followed and we needed somewhere to stay at short notice. We dropped in at the hotel unexpectedly and we were warmly greeted by the staff, they even went to the effort of calling the house keeper back to the hotel to prepare our rooms. The manager and his team provided fantastic food even after our late arrival, the customer service is fantastic. The hotel breakfast also exceeded our expectations, I would highly recommend the hotel.

Reviewed By 889dimitrisgWe had a great long weekend with my wife there. The hotel is perfectly located, a few meters away from the pedestrian city center, and offers outdoor parking. The hotel staff (reception-desk, breakfast-room, shuttle-service) has been extremely helpful, kind and professional throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, and very clean, while the breakfast included a nice variety, was delicious, with lots of local quality products. The daily morning-news copy offered at our breakfast table and the shuttle-bus taking us straight at the central ski lift station were two highlights we will definitely remember. We plan to visit Courmayeur stay again here!

Reviewed By mrscatalanoThe charming historical little street in which the hotel is leads to the skilifts within minutes of walking so it is very practcial. Theer are a couple of good restatutants within a couple of minutes walk, however there are no bars or cafes, you need to walk for 15-20 mins up and down big hills to get to the city centre and find some life. The hotel does not have coffe or tea in the rooms and nowhere to sit and have a drink in the hotel itself. The inside of the hotel is very charming, like an old castle to explore, but the rooms are very bare and need redecoration. the batjhroom was tiny. Overall a great place for ski lovers who are out on the slopes all day and only sleep at the hotel.

Reviewed By NJB227We were moved from the Hotel Omama. In some ways this was an upgrade. Better location, better breakfast available. However we had booked a large quadruple room for 3 people with two toilets and we were squeezed into one double room with an extra bed. It was very cramped. Not really suitable for 3 people when we had booked a much larger space. However the parking was handy, it was a great base in the city centre and the breakfast was really good. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are lovely. Really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Especially the breakfast staff in the patisseries. Overall had a great stay. Would stay again.

Good hotel with good views, good spa and food - but not 4 star.
Reviewed By JonW2013Easy to find off the main road. We stayed for 1 night mid week and arrived after lunch so we had 1 1/2 days of spa usage. Reception was pleasant and multi-lingual. Bedrooms had great views of the mountain and gardens. Room was large with generous bathroom. But, the grout in the bathroom was quite discoloured and needed maintenance. Also, there is in no iron in the room or even available in the hotel - this is a negative - so make sure you iron what you need before you come. The spa looks like it has been extended and there are any rooms to try. So don't miss out. They should put a map on the walls (like they do in other QCTerme spas), so you know where to find the different spa rooms. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. Make sure you make use of the apertivo at 5pm included in your stay. Another downside was the tight parking downstairs and they have no electric charing points for cars - again a negative. Whilst very enjoyable and we had a relaxing time, they can't really say this is a 4star hotel anymore.

Auberge de la Maison is a charming hotel in the centre of Entreves, a rustic hamlet on the outskirts of Courmayeur, one of the most delightful little towns in the Alps. Entreves is a picturesque collection of houses built around the old palace which was the official residence of the nobility which once reigned over Courmayeur.Auberge de la Maison is situated in a spectacular valley at the foot of Mont Blanc (Monte Bianco), a unique location among jagged peaks, glaciers and huge rock formations, where colours range from the blue-green ice of the glaciers to the cobalt sky and the grey-brown of the rock faces.

Reviewed By Munof365This is a top class hotel. Not only is it stunning, with beautiful facilities, every single member of staff goes out of their way to offer the best possible service. We had the Rocher Suite (Room 303) with amazing views of Mont Blanc and the comfiest bed (better than home!). The spa is gorgeous, contemporary in it's decor, and the pool & the steam room in particular are so relaxing after a days skiing. The hotel is about 5 mins drive from the Dolonne cable car - but the hotel shuttle is available on demand to drop you off and will collect you as soon as you call, plus the ski hire shop (4810) offers free lockers to guests. Breakfast was lovely (requests cooked to order, plus a whole range of other options - plus coffee to die for) and dinner was very special too - on account of the staff who explained every option (the cheese plate a real highlight). Highly recommended, we will definitely return.
