Reviewed By chidchaiIt is not easy to find the way to the hotel even by google map. However, the welcome drink with a room key inside the Thai dessert Form made us impressed. Yes, the room with air conditioner is fine but what a poor lighting. Due time limited, we have not enough time for breakfast even started at 0700-1000 am but the staff at restaurant promised me that she will keep it for me. As soon as come back hotel at noon, 4 boxes of food and fruits is waiting at reception. Superb....

Reviewed By Roger SOlder property, nice location but over priced for offerings. Basic room, our room, superior had no view except the back of the Resturant, tune TV, have not seen one of these for many years! Pool ok, kayaks available but did not use. Location is not on Google however the property have erected signs from googles location to the property, about a further 2 km. Roger

Grand hotel with excellent service
Reviewed By TravelandEatAsYouGoWe stayed at the hotel recently in what is low tourist season for Thailand. The hotel is huge; built on a grand scale with a massive lobby, restaurants etc and a large ornate swimming pool. It has over 300 rooms and often caters for conferences. The only rooms available during the season were the deluxe rooms which were large and well equipped with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Although for that night, we were the only guests at the hotel (we had booked 2 rooms), there was a full complement of staff i.e. porters, chamber maids, receptionists etc. Everyone made us very welcome. Breakfast, which is usually a buffet, was an a la carte from which we could choose anything and as much as we wanted. I was impressed that the hotel maintained their standard even for just 2 rooms. I will definitely recommend this hotel to any friend travelling to Utaithani to see the temples or on their way up north as a stopover.

Reviewed By Z747ASgarydFantastic stay. What a lovely hotel this is. The pool area is very nice and quiet the rooms are comfortable and clean and breakfast is very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This place may be a bit out of town but the hotel put on free transport every hour into town and back excellent service.

An Authentic Thai Experience
Reviewed By MondoteenoGreat little place to stay. If you are considering staying in Uthai Thani you are obviously after a different experience. Not many tourists in this town, not much written in English and no taxis or tour buses jamming the streets up. This is a lovely hotel set in a renovated traditional Thai wooden townhouse. Clean, comfortable rooms in a peaceful and very relaxing environment. Right next to an old 'square' with a coffee shop, bar and some great places to eat real Thai food. there are a couple of amazing restaurants within a 5 minute walk, just ask the owner as I cannot remember the names. Breakfasts were Thai style and enormous. If you have no transport, ask the owner who will provide a songthaew and driver to take you to the temples and caves for 1000 baht all day. I highly recommend staying here for a taste of real Thailand.

Reviewed By BentOlufsenThis place is peaceful and have a nice river view, but it stops there. The place is in terrible condition and in desperate need of maintenance. The bathroom walls was full of mold, no water in sink, AC did not work, etc. The place is also far from city and have limited services like restaurant and bar.

It has a beautiful lush garden covering a large area, and is surrounded by mountains, resulting in magnificent views. The natural surroundings are especially breathtaking in the morning, when an early walk around the area in the cool and clean air can give you a real feeling of being close to unspoiled nature. Reviewed By DGSmanilaThe place is old, run down and well past its glory days - BUT - it is great place to spend the days in the nature and access to all the nearby attraction. Room is basic. It is kind of bungalows spread in the natural forest. The pool was closed. Breakfast is just ok. Internet was better than expected albeit little slow.

Absolutely Wonderful
Reviewed By Cathie DWhat a wonderful experience it was to stay here. We were a group of 2 couples (4 Adults) we had two rooms – one with a Queen size bed and another with bunk beds. Beds were firm, as is the norm for less expensive accommodation but this place isn’t about the bed, it is about the location and the experience of staying on the river. Everything was lovely and clean, breakfast was provided, and you got a choice of Chicken or Pork (perhaps vegetarian also). In the morning the breakfast arrives fresh from the markets in little packages, with all sauces and condiments you need. Everything about our stay here was fantastic and felt so authentic. The air-conditioning in the rooms was excellent. Fans were provided for in the open lounge area and nets all around to keep the mosquitos out at night time. There was a 7/11 within short walking distance and local markets very close by to get all sorts of local foods.

Reviewed By Kevin SThis accommodation exceeded my expectation. Nice host, good breakfast (included), lots of free coffee, comfy bed and big spacy bathroom. I love the view from the room, overlooking the garden and the lotus pond. Also, this resort is located in an organic farm with plenty of Thai fruits and mulberry plants. So, it was a lot of things to see and experience (mulberry tasting directly from the tree for example). Some things to improve are the weak WiFi and the fruit tree at the parking, where the fruits would drop down on to the cars. Perhaps arrange for another parking would be great.
