A wonderful mix of remnants from its Roman and medieval pasts, Spoleto’s history actually goes back further to Bronze Age Umbria. Today, it’s best known for its annual summer Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds or Spoleto Festival), honoring music, opera, theater and dance. Among the city’s many excellent historic sights are its first-century Roman amphitheatre, the 12th-century Duomo, 13th-century Ponte delle Torri aqueduct and the 14th-century hilltop fortress, Rocca Albornoziana.

A building from the 60's in cement architecture, with several artistic notes outside. From reception, hallways and rooms you are surrounded by modern or contemporary artwork. the pool itself is "inside" a sculpture. Very original. It's a bit far from the old town, but don't forget that Spoleto has a network of underground treadmills. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms in need of refurbishment. Reasonable services, good breakfast. If it were in the center I would give 5 stars

I spent two nights at this hotel, got a very good rate, and my room was a little dark at the back of the building but it was clean and comfortable. The colazione was good and the hotel is in the centre of the old town. Great!

My wife and I hosted a group of 18 guests at Hotel San Luca in October. After 49 years in the travel business, I've learned that it is not just the building that makes a hotel great, but the staff in it. And this hotel has incredible staff. I was told that we were the first American group to stay there since 2019 and not only did they thank me for bringing our group, but everyone of the staff bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. I enjoyed my stay at La Fattoria. Super welcome in English, from 3rd generation family, undercover secure storage for the bicycle, huge room, hot hot shower, very comfy bed, pool, minibar, shaded balcony, quiet air con and good curtains. The doors were very secure, they looked bullet proof too. The restaurant kindly catered to my vegetarian choices, with a superhot carbonara without meat and an array of salads, the arance and cress a standout. A truffle sprinkled omelette, sent me to bed well served. Worth the reasonable price.

A beautiful and serene farm to help you get away, truly relax and rejuvenate. This bed and breakfast is situated in the middle of a peaceful and picturesque Italian countryside. We were hosted by a wonderful family (Massimo and his two sons, Samuele and Emanuele) who were the definition of hospitable. I was amazed at this self-sustaining farm. It was as if everything we ate, was made in house (pasta, oil, vegetables, cheese, etc). I was in awe and impressed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Can’t wait to visit again.

Fabulous rooms extraordinary views over the valley from the room and balcony. The breakfast is a trip highlight. Fresh fruits, excellent yoghurt, cereals, freshly made eggs. The homemade pastry tastes better than it looks. The hotel is centrally located in Spoleto. We stayed for 12 days, just returned, stayed last year as well. Can’t say enough good things about the wonderful couple who run the palazzo.

Amazing place, rooms were modern and clean. AC in the room was just what we needed. We tried their restaurant and their food was delicious, I don't know the name of the young waiter but I would like to thank him for his amazing service. Breakfast was not the best but we enjoyed the homemade crostata.
