Reviewed By IVAN TWe overnight in the accommodation for the second time. We rented a large apartment for 8 people. Unfortunately, one room is slightly worse than the others. We regret that they removed the central chimney, which gave a special charm to the room. The insulation in the apartment is not the best, but everything else is excellent. The surroundings of the building are beautifully landscaped. Breakfast is great, only the lady in the bar fails to serve a larger number of guests, especially if they are hungry :) So the ham and cheese went quickly. The lady at the front desk is more than friendly and helpful. The facility is located in unspoiled nature, so you are accompanied by the singing of pheasants and the voices of deer. Sometimes you also come across an animal species that some are scared of. Wonderful, especially with the views you enjoy. I recommend.

Reviewed By Peter MGoing to a friends wedding, so he made the reservation - Due to location,,, I thought a very quaint hotel, staff friendly and let me check in at 11:55... Then I sat out side and they served me coffee on the sun terrace... Lovely... Really good location just off the 223 highway. Rooms clean and tidy, internet free and strong. Breakfast really really good, fresh coffee made to order. Fresh juices bread cheese ham, jams cereals etc. Really really good! Staff super friendly - These guys make this hotel special... Highly recommend!!

Reviewed By Claudia dThe menu was amazing with a lot of different pizzas to choose from. After a long day, we were all tired and pretty hungry. Everyone was really satisfied with their pizza. Nothing tops the Italian pizza chefs :) The place was quiet busy, although it was just an ordinary Monday evening. A lot of locals were around it was pretty clear that this was a real family business. Some of them were having dinner in the restaurant as well. The waiters were friendly, however they did not ask us for another drink and they didn’t check upon us during our dinner. All in all, the prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good.

Reviewed By MakiSeesI have mixed thoughts about this place so it probably comes down to value for the money. Service is outstanding- very professional. When we arrived there was a funny smell in the bathroom. They came, agreed, and moved us to another room with an upgrade. They handled it very well. The upgrade, however, was for one night and then we had to move again for the 2d night. The 2d night we were next to the outdoor dining area so we couldn’t open windows due to lack of privacy and we heard the diners’ voices like they were in our room. The hotel is located in between 2 hills (more of a gulley) so it does not have the sweeping views that some other places we stayed at had at lower prices with same quality. It is an old building, which has charm, but you hear adjacent rooms and the plumbing. The touches are luxurious, the place clean (smell in the bathroom aside), and breakfast options were very good. It was a very nice place overall.

Our residence has 10 apartments suitable ever for families, finely furnished and with any comfort, all composed of an equipped kitchen, a broad dining room, a bathroom, a bedroom and a closet, 2 satellite tv and 2 fan coils.In order to make it a very enjoyable stay, our residence provides wide common open spaces and a swimming-pool, our policy is that of making our visitors feel like part of the history and traditions that we work hard preserve, instead that simply a guest.

Rooms are very clean, spacious, well lit, quiet, with fully equiped kitchen, good heating and a/c, patio, wifi. Breakfast is great, cappuccinos fantastic. Easy free parking. Good base for exploring Siena, San Gimignano, Montalcino, etc. Several good restaurants nearby. Love this place!

Reviewed By pauldK8590SIRoom was very pleasant, however at the end of July when the days are hot, this property did not have enough fans to serve it's guests. Breakfast was very pleasant and staff very friendly. Knowledge of nearby places to eat of high quality was limited and the properties restaurant is closed in the summer. Finally, after an unfortunate problem with the room and the promise of a credit to my bank after the stay, it took 10 emails and three months to finally receive the promised money.

Charming hospitality and the best food we had in Italy
Reviewed By sharon106A group of us came here on a guided walk and couldn't believe our good fortune. The food and ambience were so incredible we came back as a group a second time. This sweet little restaurant is a bit out of the way, but oh so worth it. The chef and his wife are artists in every sense of the word. Their meals and hospitality are authentic, home- grown and homemade but with a modern flare! We had a mouth-watering turkey scallopini with a wine sauce, delicious and creative crostini, and a rich and elegant creamy soup with layers of flavor. Our group of seven agreed our meals here were the best we had in Italy. The hosts do not speak English well, but they are warm and friendly. Enjoy! We would come back any chance we had.

Il Caggio is an old farmhouse, located just 15 minutes from Siena and immersed in the greenery of the Montagnola Senese. The structure is now divided into 7 apartments restructured according to the taste of the time. They can easily accommodate from 2 to 6 people,for a total of about 20px. Each of them is composed by: one/two bedrooms, one/two bathrooms, a large livingroom with kitchenette and a private outdoor space, equipped with table, chairs and umbrella. Agriturismo Il Caggio is situated in a privileged location: it's in the center of a vast and panoramic enclosed park, but at the same time it's just a few steps from the most important Tuscan centers and attractions.We can provide breakfast, dinner and tastings of local products and wines. Every meal is prepared in the traditional way, only with genuine Tuscan ingredients.
Perfect Hosts--Beautiful Residence
Reviewed By CrowsoFriends stayed here and I visited for a cooking class with delightful results. I had been wanting to stay or visit an Agriturismo and a wonderful result. The setting on a hillside over looking the valley and a beautifully renovated cluster of farm buildings was better than my imagination. The room looked very comfortable. The hosts were excellent and seemed to know exactly how to treat guests. I spent the afternoon making pasta with my friends under their excellent tutoring and then enjoyed a wonderful dinner--the whole affair reminded me a Rick Steves episode where he did the same!! I do recommend visitors get exact instructions and follow their GPS to find the entrance.
