Reviewed By MohanSunthe rooms are good but cleanliness need improvement. some rooms offer good mountain views others do not. mr. pavan, front desk staff was courteous enough to change our rooms to a better view ones. they have a casino which is fun. food was excellent. met the main chef and he seems to know his job very well. overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Rooms are floored with wood. Wall are also wood paneled. Heaters provided if required. TV on demand. Rooms are provided with tea makers and accessories.

Reviewed By ayaneshBeautiful place, well maintained. Very efficient, friendly staff and manager. Owner is also helpful. We had a great time here. Barfung retreat is totally worth your time and money. Rooms are neat and clean. All amenities necessary are provided. Balcony has beautiful view of forests and mountains. We'll maintained lawns and flower plants. It is a great place to find peace and tranquility in the heart of nature that too in the majestic himalayan landscape of Sikkim. Management provides contacts with taxis with reasonable fares.

Had our food in the in-house Flavours restaurant which served delicious lip-smacking food both as buffet n ala-carte alongwith awesome valley views !! Rooms are too spacious with fantastic view. Mr.Satyam n other staff were so polite n well behaved which enhanced our stay experience !! Overall experience was superb n highly recommended for family vacation..!!

This a beautiful, small Resort managed by Mrs. Minoo a young dynamic lady – daughter of owners and her team of young boys n girls. All are courteous and ready offer their services. We asked Minoo, in case of medical emergency what help can be available? She said she stays in same premises, has her car and she herself would drive to hospital in case of need and there are 2-3 good hospitals she knows! Location : Location is really beautiful. Blissful serenity inspires to meditate or just have lovely ‘my time’! It is located on hills surrounded by lovely tall trees and lot of open space with sitting arrangement, swings and colorful flowers. There are two cottages and also few rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor, first floor owners live. View from rooms is lovely. There is balcony to rooms and having morning tea sitting in balcony is best holiday gift! Rooms /cottages are clean and well maintained. Cottages are compact, not very spacious but we used to have tea coffee or even dinner outside the cottage, where there is sitting arrangement-a unique experience . They have one Restaurant at road level two levels below hotel, which we did not find great. Room service is provided by this restaurant with additional charges. Serve both Veg and Non Veg food. Breakfast is on ala carte basis, we did not have. Dinner they served in room on one rainy evening was delicious and was served hot. Chef did not know what is Khichadi but still prepared delicious khichdi when my wife explained the recipe! Free WiFi is available with good speed. There is beautiful Rose Garden at just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel where there is a really very good restaurant serves excellent Veg and Non Veg food and alcohol /cocktails at very reasonable rates. We used to go to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. Open 10am to 9 pm. I have written separate Review for this restaurant. Another tourist attraction, a must visit place, Char Dham temples, replica of Char Dham yatra is close by. Local taxi would charge Rs 200 for drop. Most of the Hotels and restaurants do not accept credit cards! Pay cash or thr GPay. We had booked the cottage for two days directly talking to Ms. Minoo @ Rs 2500 per night including Tax but not breakfast. We liked the place so much that we extended the stay by one more day! Ravangla was a destination unknown to us till one of my colleagues mentioned to me while I was wondering for a site of recluse. And one more tip from him- if Ravangla,then only HILLTOP! I argued -why only Hilltop? He smiled and say- You won't regret in your life! So, I zeroed into Hilltop. We booked it via Booking. com. We kept our itinerary limited as we were looking for a badly needed break after 2.5 yrs of pandemic woes! After landing at Bagdogra, we were greeted by our cool and cheerful Mr. Pasang who graciously invited us to his Wagon- R and drove skillfully to Peiling first.After enchanting ourselves with the beauty of Peiling and Kanchenjunga, we proceeded to Ravangla. Here I must interrupt and introduce you all to someone - Shri SAYANTAN BANERJEE- a perfect bengali GENTLEMAN, extremely cordial,brotherly, helpful and bubbling with energy. Right after we came in contact with him after booking, he had been keeping in touch and providing useful tips about our journey... be it train reservations /flights/bus services. The moment we reached at Hilltop....there he was... with his gallant team...beaming with a generous smile on his face. Within moments, we felt as if we had shifted from our previous home to our new home! Everone was so cheerful and cordial. I was introduced to Shri PREM RAI, whom I found out to be an epitome of hospitality and vigour. We were checked in ina flash... and we found ourselves into our DREAMROOM...Yes...dream room it was...as the spacious room had such impressive wooden decor.. There was no artificial furniture as such. And the moment, the curtains were drawn out...we were speechless... As there was almost 180° panoramic view of the Himalayan Splendor, right in front! All our journey tiredness vanished in a second! After freshning up, we were escorted to the dining hall, where our table was laid out by Renuka di, a perfect gracious hostess with an evershing innocent smile! The food was simply mindblowingly tasteful - the magic been cast by Ck(aka Jackie bhai), Shambhu bhai and Jeet bhai. Kamla di was an evercheerful entity whose presence could be felt everywhere. My son mingled with them as if he knew them for years...he had a fantastic time as he played, galloped, climbed,jumped and made merry with all his new friends! The campus is strewn with lovely flowers and trees with nicely maintained pavements. The watchtower was a bonus as we could walk up now and then and gasp at the nascent beauty of Mother Nature! We chatted on all topics with Sayantan da over the bonfire, to our heart's content! As per the advice of Mr. Pasang, Sayantan da and Prem da, we visited to Temi's tea garden and Buddha park. I have floated videos of both the places in my Youtube blog ( Rejuvinator 73. (kindly visit aand grace with your comments)! Those few days felt like a pleasant dream. Farewell was quite heart-wrenching as we didn’t feel like leaving. We hugged each other and parted. Never before have we ever felt so attached as it was here! Hilltop shall always remain etched in our memory as a dream of ecstasy!! Hats off to the entire TEAM HILLTOP RAVANGLA!

The stay here was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel staffs were friendly and co-operating, always tending to our needs with a smile. The hotel has its own multi-cuisine restaurant ready to cater to culinary needs specially during those lazy and chilly afternoons.

Amazing place to stay
Reviewed By Sriharsha_KnThe moment I contacted on phone, Gavin from Eco Adventure, virtually showed how the resort would be. I immediately booked after I spoke to him. I was not disappointed and it exactly matched the description. The views are spectacular and stay was comfortable. I was travelling with my wife and 5 year old son. My son fell ill because of weather change. I immediately spoke to Gavin and he handled everything else. Special thanks to Gavin for his outstanding customer service. Luckily the resort had an Army doctor who was staying there for a night. Prasanjit and Soumya were very helpful in taking care of our stay and they gave special care to my son. From our room we could see the Kanchenjunga range and the views were spectacular. Its right in the middle of Temi tea plantations and there are lot of activities to do. We booked for two nights and we liked it so much we extended one more night. We could see lot of birds and the view from the deck not to be missed. We will visit again. Thank you.

Great location,really pleasant and clean rooms,but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the manager.Manager and the family were very nice they were taking care of everything. Pure homemade food was served to us.The owner takes time out to sit in the evening and get to know us.The Sirdi sai temple is just opposite of the house. The helipad is in walking distance where we saw the mesmerising Himalayas. We visited Siddheswar Dham , Samdruptse Hill , and Char Dham from there, all are within 2.7 km circle.I was actually sad to l eave because they made our stay so special.

Reviewed By krmr1953Hotel rooms ambience services and food are excellent. There was power cut for more than 16hrs a day duri g our stay. But we were comfortable as the generator was on. Only defect is WiFi. That should be rectified. As the hotel is closer to Buddha park, we could visit it when ever we feel like. Thanks to Arun bhagath of Travel zone Sikkim for arranging this beautiful hotel.
