Take a swim

Reviewed By Travelinggal7777

The resort is a distance away from airport, so we rented a car. Check in went smoothly, my room was in the old side of the hotel. Bathroom small but clean. The decor was very old fashion. At first i was underwhelmed, but when i look thru my little window, holy cow!! The view was breathtaking!! i didn’t want to leave my room. We did the tea time the following day and swam in the pool. The spectacular view from the pool was the best. Make sure take a swim in the outdoor pool. It was cold windy day, but the heated pool and the view made it a wonderful experience. The food in the restaurants was okay. Service was wonderful Looking forward to come back again.

Beautiful, comfortable stay at Antu Kuyen

Reviewed By Kznebs

My mom and I stayed at Antu Kuyen for 4 nights and loved this place. Its one of the nicest places we've stayed at in Argentina. The decor was beautiful, beds were comfortable, good breakfast, with a lovely backyard. Alejandro went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He toured us through the city on the way from the airport, lent us his transit card when we didn't have any money left on it and helped us make an international call on the phone. The location was perfect if you like being away from the noise of the city. The beach is close by, yacht club across the street with a waterfront restaurant as well as 2 of the top restaurants in the city in walking distance. We honestly didn't even care to go back into the city after the first day since everything we needed was near by. Its also on the bus line so easy to get around without a car and also a cheap taxi ride into the city. My mom and I love it there and would highly recommend anyone staying here.

Birthday Celebration

Reviewed By Travelinggal7777

After reading the great reviews, we decided to book the Lirolay and Especial suite. I was celebrating my sisters bday on this trip. I told management and they had chocolates and flowers in her room. She was pleasantly surprised when arrived at Suite Especial. It was beautiful, the ceiling had detailed woodwork and the view was breathtaking. Pictures cannot capture the true beauty. I had Lirolay suite with the jacuzzi over looking lake. I loved my room. It was complete serenity. I had Juan book in room massages for the each of us. It was so relaxing. We just wanted to enjoy our rooms so our plans to have dinner at a nice restaurant was canceled. Juan took great care of us. He arranged a lovely dinner with room service. The tiramisu was delicious. We had a wonderful bday celebration. Our stay was way too short, other than that it was perfect.

Very good hotel

Reviewed By jilld64

The lobby of this hotel is magnificent. Two fireplaces a bar a work area, for the benefit of the guest. The employees are very well mannered, And knowledgeable. The breakfast was good, and the rooms are nice, a little bit outdated, I had some towels that had extra fringe on them, but they worked well. The elevator works good, I stayed on the second floor and it was quite enough to sleep, the beds are excellent. The Wi-Fi also work very good.

Stunning views!

Reviewed By Egads413

Overall a very beautiful and nice hotel. Not sure I would rate it as 5 star but 4 star for sure. I would recommend more road signs to find the hotel, it is very difficult to navigate if you do not have Google maps/ GPS. The views are STUNNING and it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Sadly they were out of some of the menu items but the ones they did have were incredible. Breakfast we perfect, just make sure you book your time in advance. If you don’t want to wait just order room service once you wake up. The staff was AMAZING and the best part of our visit besides the view!!

The facilities are brand new, the room is more like a flat and a family can stay long term due to the kitchen facilities as well. The pool was really warm and the gym with decent and new appliances. Be prepared to wear your coats from the minute you leave your room, once the corridors are open.

Aldea Andina Hotel&Spa

Surrounded by four acres of splendid parkland, not far from the city centre is ALDEA ANDINA. Its unique architecture replicates the European style mountain hut, with rough walls and rich wood interior, perfectly combined with wall-to-wall bedroom carpet. The one and two-bedroom apartments are both spacious and comfortable, central heated and fully equipped with high quality traditional furniture, a telephone and television, as well as a hydro-massage in each bathroom

Potentially ok but work to do…

Reviewed By PWBR

The reception was very friendly and helpful though no-one spoke English as claimed on the website/ Google. The apartment was large, though dark, with a useable kitchen. There was no view from our apartment and the road noise was at times very loud and persistent. Cleaning was daily. Wifi worked ok at times and at other times was non existent creating many problems. The swimming pool was extremely cloudy and dirty and the racquets and balls for the tennis courts were for children and well used. We hadn’t realised it was going to cost extra to use the Quincho. The restaurant facility had great views across the lake but breakfast was slow and restricted to a couple of slices of toast and a few bits to go with it and served by a lady in the wrong job, who refused to give butter for toast, claiming this would be an extra cost. This problem was eventually resolved on day 2 after some feedback was shared. We chose to eat in the restaurant for dinner one night and expected a « residents 10% » discount advertised on the wall. It turned out this wasn’t intended for hotel residents but local residents of Bariloche! Lucky them! Finally we spent a fortune on taxis but this was no fault of the hotel - we just hadn’t realised how far out of the way it was.
