Reviewed By grumpy554Lovely receptionist, welcoming and helpful Room was apparently one of the better 'cheap' ones but definitely tight on space, though comfortable enough. Did the wine tasting etc which we thought good value though, sorry, the wines they produced are not to our taste! Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, lovely staff The restaurant was long on pretentiousness and short on value. Not memorable at all. Service at the pool area excellent. Would return, probably dining elsewhere.....

So I searched the internet for somewhere good to stay to break my two years without going anywhere for enjoyment. I can say I was very much in luck. I really did not know Sicily -never been there. I certainly knew nothing about Mussomeli and so to find a place to stay which was so good then I would say the gods were looking looking down on me. Incidentally you can easily visit the Greek temples in and around Agrigento - around one hour away from Musmelia Roons by car. You can also visit nearby Siculiana Marinara fir the sea and golden sands. Again, around one hour away by my hired FIAT Panda. Back to the specifics of Musmelia Rooms. Quite sure moly it was a lovely lace to stay. Lively too much n that next door on one side is a bar which had live USA style Rock & Roll on the Saturday night I dropped by. On the other side of Musmelia B&B is a restaurant with a good reputation. I did not have time to visit on this trip. Maybe next time. My room was marvellous. Air Conditioning though I did not need it. Excellent heating with remote control. TV. Lots of lighting options. A great en-suite Showee Room with WC. My room even had a private terrace with doors opening out into it. I had views across the valley towards the newer parts of Mussomeli. Very enjoyable to see the day dawn through these French windows. Musmelia Roons is all newly renovated to a very high standard. Adriana the owner showed me round on my arrival including the Breakfast Room on n the top floor, the roof terrace for guest use and the coffee making facilities on one of the landings. Breakfast was delightful in every way. The food was good. My breakfast helper ( Adriana’s mother, Enza, was happy to “talk” with me. Me with limited Italian / Sicilian and she the same with her English. It was great fun. Each morning. It as so good of people at Musmelia Rooms to mark my birthday -4th April with special Canoli and cake with candle. How thoughtful. To be honest I wanted to move in and stay for good. It as all very relaxing. Very relaxing. I did not want to leave. In fact I’m not going to leave. You see I decided to buy one of the very many empty, but charming, old houses in the Citta Vechia. So my advice ? Do yourself and you’re friends and those loved ones a massive Sicilian favour and make a booking ASAP !

Although we couldn’t communicate perfectly in english she provided me with her best service and she also informed me on central sicily’s history and its main industry which is sulphur mining. The hotel room was really spacious with separate shower and toilet spaces. Bed was comfortable and overall the room was well kept. The only drawback is that is not very lit as the hotel is situated in a very narrow street in a densely populated neighborhood.Breakfast is ok and served in the ground floor next to reception. If you wanna feel like home in Caltanisetta, I recommend you to stay in this place!

Reviewed By romaa946We didn’t have time to use all of the hotel’s facilities eg spa and gym. But the rooms and gardens are lovely. Food and wine great - especially if you like fish!! Lots to do locally. Valley of the temples is amazing!! We did some Montalbano ‘research’ on way back to Catania. Scicli is where much was filmed and is such a picturesque town. Was on bucket list - and well worth it!!

Reviewed By gigliocookingIt hasn’t been super easy to find the l’Uliwood, and, it is in an easy place: a dirt track rigth next the large square of the stadium Tomaselli in Caltanissetta. We drive along the narrow unwinding road among the olive trees to the modern building that has hosted us. In the little court yard, a cat welcomes us. I call Rosalind on phone, the young owner, who is now picking olives together with Emanuele. She arrives soon, she shows us the bedroom – named “Fico d’India” , that is prickly pear – that is modern and we like it immediately. We like also Rosalinda. She tells us about the difficulties encountered by whom, in Italy, wants to start an entrprise in a serious way. They are a little worry, Rosalinda & Emanuele: two young people, “clean”, filled up with entusiasm and, i’d say, joy. But they keep on being careful with the costumers, to follow the rules and … pick olives and oranges. We like them. We are sorry to stay only one night. Also Caltanissetta, of which you don’t hear about with touristc sense, has pleasantly surprised us, with its Strata Foglia and its central Corso Umberto. I think we would go there again, crossing Sicily in diagonal, and we would stop again at Uliwood.

Reviewed By Cecilie RWe spent 10 amazing days at B&B Rosaly! The room was very nice, clean and modern. The room and common area was equipped with everything we needed. Due to a very warm period during our stay (42°C), we were veeery pleased to come back to a room with a functional AC :) The staff was very friendly and they always asked us if we needed something, which we rarely did:) Overall, as the title implies, it was perfect! We highly recommend this place if you're ever planning on visiting San Cataldo or Caltanissetta.

Reviewed By 823andreizPersonnel is really polite, rooms are normal and equipped with everything you need,(A/C, fridge, TV). The view is really good and the hotel is close to the beach which is a plus. At the reception you can find all information regarding the area and again you can find people who can speak english.

But the best thing is the view and the owners, who are great. another plus, is the location of Villa Russo in center if the island. we wanted to visit the island, and it was the perfect choice because is maximum 2 hours by car from ani corner of Sicily

Reviewed By pizzauomoThe facility is more like a private villa than a small hotel. The pool and amenities to relax and have an espresso or glass of wine Is wonderful. Chiara checked us in and looked after us like we were special. The property is lucky to have such great representation. This is a gem of a place. The owners are on property and everything is manicured. Gela needs more of this kind of investment. The city is in desperate need of leadership like the Archeo Hotel.
