A decent property nestled in nature

Jain food is available without onion and Garlic. Restaurant and Breakfast are taken care of by Ms. AKANGCHA & Deepam - who leave no stone unturned in providing impeccable service and deserved a special mention in the review. Pros :- 1. Service 2. Check in / Check out ease 3. Cleanliness and Quality of stay 4. Breakfast spread. 5. Packed separate food from breakfast menu for the kids 6. Nestled in nature - trees are all around the rooms / restaurant and the property 7. Away from the city 8. Recreation room - with carrom / Ludo / Chess and Playing Cards. Cons :- 1. Bathrooms exhaust windows don't shut completely and insects tend to enter from the openings since the property is nestled in the nature. 2. A bit away from the city - this could be an issue for those who aren't travelling with their own vehicle and wish to stay longer to explore things around. Price Range : 2500 - 7000 per night with breakfast We paid 5k in peak season June. While the location is unique the interiors needs some revamp and a new style. The staff were generally helpful. The food was decent and while the hotel was fully booked, we could see that the hotel was short staffed. Overall a good place, but can be even better if spend some money on the interiors

Reviewed By 872sunitdWe stayed there on 18th 19th and 23rd of March 2021 and I can say that this hotel is probably the best place to stay in Pelling. most of the Rooms are facing mt. Kanchanjungha. All staff is very humble and supportive. They always care for their guest. the Manager of the hotel is a Gentlemen and ready to serve you. I strongly recommend this hotel for comfortable stay.

Reviewed By aarnatravelblogsWe stayed in this hotel for one night. Rooms are of average size, they gave 2 blankets. Bathroom was not very clean, we requested to clean it again. There were very minimal bathroom toiletries present. You have request for everything. Very less staffed hotel and staff seemed very disinterested and tired. We ordered dinner , dal, chawal, chicken and roti. Dal looked stale , chicken was uncooked in a spicey gravy. The food was horrible, we had to eat dry rice since nothing else is available near by hotel. For breakfast they had only aloo paratha, which again as per other guests was not good. We skipped breakfast and left the hotel as early as possible. Overall it was not a good choice to stay when you are on a vacation, I would recommend to avoid booking a room here.

Great service, polite, courteous staff. They sent someone out to the market to just purchase our choice vegetable bhindi. Very elegant decor in the public areas, with art, murals. Rooms are standard..no complaints about them. I'll strongly recommend this hotel for any traveller to Pelling.

Decent Stay in Pelling
Reviewed By BandhanVijenStayed in Hotel Simvo for one day. This place was decent with Television, hot water, private balcony etc. We had dinner here and taste was average. Bathrooms were not that clean and if they maintain this place properly then this can be one of the best stay place in Pelling. Hotel staff was very kind and courteous. They provided hot drinking water, extra towels and blankets on request. The best part of this hotel is its location. One can view beautiful Kanchenjunga mountain range and its mesmerizing. As I mentioned each rooms had private balcony with armchairs. Having morning coffee with this beautiful view will be heaven.
