Reviewed By andreg892A beautiful British Art Deco hotel and restaurant. Lovely food served hot and of high quality. We sat out in the glass area overlooking the sea . It was very bright and hot but better once the sun went down . The service was pleasant and up to price standards. The atmosphere was complete with the 1950’s music playing in the background. Toilets were clean but cheap looking compared to the rest of the dining area . Well worth a visit

Reviewed By ontour6We had a three day break with elderly parents. The hotel rooms along with the food were to a very high standard (thanks to the chef for being so obliging). All staff were great but a massive thank you to Dominic and Claudia who were just excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they were always looking to go the extra mile. I would strongly recommend a visit to this lovely hotel and we will definitely be back.

Unclean bedding and broken bathroom lock
Reviewed By athertonfamilyRoom had obviously unclean bedding. Reception provided new bedding which we had to change. When took quilt cover off the quilt itself had big brown stains!! Got new quilt...then had to remake beds ourselves. Wife then got stuck in bathroom as lock faulty. I managed to coax lock to work then had to have toilet door open all time. They couldn't fix lock at weekend and hotel fully booked so a change of room not possible,

Restaurant was closed in the evening so brought Take away back staff accommodating and let us use plates and cutlery from the restaurant. Very dog friendly. Slight misunderstanding with the bill which Vanusa sorted immediately. Overall very clean and comfortable oh and by the way chef looks like Will Smith?

So we knew the food was really good and nutritious, but wanted to experience eating in the restaurant and it was so welcoming with lovely friendly staff serving us really well. If your in Morecambe do book in the restaurant even if not staying in the Hotel.

Rooms have an excellent modern interior for 2021, some benefiting from endless views across the bay. A family run Guesthouse we pride ourselves on the home from home feel, with locally sourced food served at breakfast. In September 2018 our property, for its sea fronted location, was selected for use in the ITV Drama 'The Bay'.

Reviewed By LakelandLady23Just back from a 3 night stay with my 80 yr old gran, we stayed in seperate rooms 4&6. Both rooms were beautifully presented with modern decor, room 6 had a cracking view of the bay. Viv and Carl were the best hosts!! Nothing was ever to much for them, they helped so much from aftersun to plates for a chippy tea and a shower mat for my gran. The breakfasts they provide are exceptional, I had a full english on 2 mornings, my gran had poached/scrambled eggs during her stay, she can be abit fussy with certain things but even that didnt faze them, they helped and provided her woth everything she needed. Also exceptional knowledge of the near and far surroundings of Morecambe, took their advice on several places and was not dissapointed! Only thing I should of done was seek their advice on wheres best for fish and chips ? Thanks so much for making our first holiday together one to remember xxx

excellent stay at good value hotel

We had a massive room with self catering facilities, extremely comfortable double bed, clean sheets, lovely fluffy towels with plenty of hot water and a good shower. Large flat screen TV, plenty of teas and coffees, it was really a home from home!! Will definately be back ...... Had vegetarian breakfasts in the hotel bar in a window seat overlooking the bay. perfect All staff are friendly, helpful and efficient

Family room 501 just awful
Reviewed By gemmacD2439XQI can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. We were allocated room 501 which is on the ground floor next to reception. Constant noise from the bar above, chairs dragging across the floor, can hear every conversation in the reception area including guests that came in late at night. Not the hotels fault but we had a couple arguing and swearing at each other at 2am. Even woke our child who is a pretty heavy sleeper. It was also filthy, pictures of the bathroom included! Worst £150 for a nights stay I have ever spent. We ended up staying in a different hotel the following night for half the price! Avoid this one, especially the family/disabled room with garden view.

Wonderful location
Reviewed By tarangelabenWe had such a pleasant stay here, we wish we could have stayed longer! The location is beautiful and is very handy to explore local areas in Morecambe too. We would like to visit again once it's been refurbished and serving food again, bet that will be amazing. The price is very reasonable and the cottage rooms are very spacious. The room and bed was extremely comfortable, I had a really good night's sleep. The amenities were good too. We had a slight issue with the TV not working, and even though it wasn't resolved Adrian tried his hardest which we appreciated. The only slight niggles would be there could be another bin provided as there is just a small one in the bathroom. Also, more milk cartons would have been great. The location is brilliant and we look forward to visiting again. Thanks to Jenny too for always responding so promptly before our visit. We had a lovely weekend.

The view of the bay is beautiful and the location of the hotel perfect. We were able to relax and made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be back! Thanks J xx
