Casa Buganvilla is located in Minia, a quiet village of Kefalonia, only 500 meters from the beach and 5 minutes by car from the animated capital of the island. This charming small hotel embodies some of the authentic architecture characteristics of the Ionian islands in brown and white shades, surrounded by blooming bougainvillea which are an authentic sample of the Mediterranean flora. Casa Buganvilla offers 2 upper floor superior rooms and 4 standard ground floor rooms, all aimed to offer to each guest the serenity, relaxation and hospitality of the Greek summer. Decoration is inspired by the elegant Ionian style combined with classical elements. It’s the perfect spot for couples or friends. Casa Buganvilla is open from April to October.

From the first discussion with Mr. Dimitris we understood that he is very client oriented, and he did everything it's possbile to have a memorable accommodation. When we arrived, we've been welcome by Mrs. SOFIA (Mr. Dimitris mother), who is in charge of the location and she is better than any Guest experience Manager:) . She is very polite, full of energy and a very kind person. She made a very nice sparkle for our friends when she find out about their wedding ceremony. The rooms are big, very clean, the furniture is new, qualitative, appliance are also new and very good quality. Location is in a very quite zone. Each room has a small balcony, with a small table+2 chairs and a lot of flowers. For us everything was perfect. Congratulations to the owner. We strongly recommend Casa Buganvilla?

Reviewed By eitheridAndreas and his family are great hosts. They offered assistance in every way: explained all the most important about the island, his mom offered us a sun umbrella and some other accessories. They were so kind to us and even more to our dog :). The studio is nice and big with great comfortable beds. The sheets and towels are changed every other day. Everything was spotless, the furniture in our studio is completely new. We booked this studio for 10 days but loved everything very much that we extended our stay for two more days.

Reviewed By Radim MGreat service from the staff. The owner is super friendly and helpful. This Place is close to the airport - it is about 5 minutes from AirPort by walking. I highly recommend it for stay - very clean and cozy.

Reviewed By Martino GLa structure, qui en apparence est jolie et moderne, est à l'abandon. Elle a été construite il y a quelques années, dans un but de location, mais aucun soin n'y a été apporté. On y voit partout les traces de négligence: poubelles à l'entrée, piscine abimée, jacuzzi non fonctionnel, murs abimés, vaisselle cassée, materiel de cuisine vétuste, appartements sales, canapés et tapis tachés, serviettes de douche tachées, draps tachés et abimés.....une hygiène laissant vraiment perplexe. La propriétaire est injoignable, et la personne devant assurer l'arrivée départ des voyageurs et probablement l'hygiène et peu joignable, et peu agréable. Nous avons quitté l'appartement sans même y séjourner, compte tenu du manque de propreté inacceptable. Une adresse à éviter, on trouve facilement mieux sur cette île.

Ammos Residence is located right on the beautiful,sandy beach Megali Ammos,only 8 km from the capital of Kefalonia Argostoli.Ιt has a lovely,large garden with playground for the kids and a nice gathering space with barbecue grill,built oven,refrigerator and dining tables for their parents.There is also private parking,internet access in the rooms and in all public areas and there are also free sunbeds and umbrellas for our guests to enjoy the sea and sun all day long. All of the apartments have modern furnishings,air conditioning,fully equipped kitchen and a private balcony or terrace with great sea and sunset view.

Reviewed By loftukWould have been nice if someone had,just once, checked to see we were ok. Apartment was completely flooded during the storm, no electric for 6 days/evenings and no water for a couple of days. We didn't fuss as other parts of the island were hit far far worse, but would really have appreciated the owner just to have popped his head in to see we were ok and to have updated us with what was happening. Appreciate there was a lot of damage outside the apartment, but as customers it did feel like we were forgotten about.

Surrounded by a beautiful delightful garden Sea View Studios are situated in Minies Village, just eight (8) Km away from the capital city of Argostoli providing easy and instant access to sandy beaches. The magnificent view of the deep blue Ionian Sea, the green terrain and the warm hospitality guarantee your next unforgettable vacations. Spasmata beach is a ten minute walk, while Megali Ammos beach is a twenty minute walk from the spot. Both beaches are well organized with lovely each bars. All rooms have either a private terrace (ground floor) or a balcony (1st floor) ensuring a spectacular view of the sea. The owner being an architect herself has personally decorated all rooms using minimal style offering a relaxing and summery atmosphere. Each room has a private bath and small kitchen. The rooms are situated in the ground and 1st floor, have private terrace or balcony and instant access to the garden, offering magnificent sea view. The rooms are 25 sq.M and can serve up to three people.
BEAUTIFUL PLACE
Reviewed By Laura TWe stayed in this charming hotel for 2 nights, the room was perfect, the bed is very comfortable, the wifi is perfectly working, the bathroom is so clean and they changed our laundry clean each day. The garden outside is beautifully kept, and we had breakfast each day in the quiet of this garden, from where you can see the sea. This studios is in a very good position, from where you can move to north or south each day discovering the amazing Kefalonia. The owner Maria is very nice, and also the girl that took care of us during our stay, Smaragja, was so lovely and nice to us. Totally approve this beautiful place!

Reviewed By Karen MIf u want to relax in lovely surroundings with beatiful views this is the place to stay, although only 5 mins from airport in taxi (15 euros, bit steep considering its so close) & about 10 min walk to restaurants - most would need a car to see more ! A day trip to Argostoli to see the turtles is highly recommended - only 2 eoros on local bus. Now lets get to downside,, met at 'reception' by a friendly man who even took us to local shop in his car (15 minute ride away & with us carrying heavy bottles of water etc this was a blessing). We seen him about 3 times in the whole week we were there when i had to ask for.. Coathangers. as there were only 4 between 2 of us for a week. A kettle - which a couple of days later i found had a permanent film of scum floating on the top! A toaster, which i was flatly refused - terrible self catering facilities with being stuck so far away from shops etc! Not even left an emergency telephone number to contact anybody - incase of an emergency or even a general question! All in all, we had a perfect week chilling in the sun - u must go to private cove out the back. but i have never experinced a place with nobody around or with practically no reception! Hooe you enjoy the planes landing and taking off just out the front entrance as much as we did, added to the experience ?
