I was there in a group of people in which there were two people with diseases that required special diet and with a two years old baby: perfect staff ! This way the holiday is relaxing, not a continuous stress avoiding dangerous food. Cooking is very good value for the price you pay , excellent breakfast. Ask Michela for any need (ski renting, restaurants, etc.). Very nicefacilities: baby room with toys, fitness room, Jacuzzi, ..... In the restaurant very nice Giovanna.

Food is great, homemade and fresh. Rooms are nice and cozy. You will have to drive or use ski bus to get to the slopes but the service here is so great that you won't mind :)

A great place for a holiday

The host Maddalena is very friendly and helpful.The place is not far from the ski resorts, which can be easily reached by car. We spent 7 days in Casa dei Ricci and we highly recommend to everyone this wonderful place.

Reviewed By Simon GHaving recently spent almost 2 weeks over New Year at Hotel Rauzi with family and friends, we can say this hotel is simply fantastic both for summer and winter holidays in Val Di Sole. The cuisine was excellent, varied and plentiful with typical local dishes as well as some modern healthy additions this year (Goji berries, pumpkin seeds and ginger & lemon teas were most welcome surprises by the salad buffet) The rooms and ensuite bathrooms were warm, very comfortable and the cleanest ever. The hotel runs a private shuttle bus service that took us to the ski pistes and back, almost on demand, and in only about 6 minutes. It felt like having a private driver, who was polite, helpful and just really nice all of the time. The official ski instructor even came to the hotel every evening so we were able to sit with him, discuss our needs and book and pay for all our lessons. His experienced and honest advice provided a wonderful ski experience and saved us the hassle of queueing at the ski school or waiting in the cold. We were also able to rent and pay for all our equipment at the hotel itself after trying it on at the Val di Sole VDS Sport shop, just round the corner. The owner, who also comes to the hotel every evening, delivered it for us straight to the Hotel’s ski depot and heated boot room. The children were happily entertained every evening free of charge for almost 2 hours making arts & crafts and playing in the Hotel's games room, safely supervised by a very nice teacher. Even being ill, our child could not wait to play with her. In the meantime, the adults could relax in the wellness centre, which we booked exclusively for us. There is a sauna, steam room, showers and a very large and modern whirlpool and relaxation area. All is tastefully and beautifully decorated and exquisitely clean and modern. All these personalised services seem customary at Hotel Rauzi, but we would expect them rather in five star resorts. Coupled with the politeness of the staff and the owners, who are always so kind, dedicated and hardworking and that you can see strive every day to anticipate for all of their guests’ needs and also take great care of their property, it made this a perfect hotel for our winter holiday with children and that of our friends as a couple. Why would anyone stay anywhere else? To book a room I would recommend calling or emailing them directly as other websites often show no availability even weeks in advance...

Reviewed By Marta GThe hotel is not really extravagant but it's not cheap-looking either - I assume they've had a renovation recently because everything felt really fresh and clean (not just in the public areas but in our room as well). We had breakfast and dinner included and while we didn't 100% liked all of the food that we tasted, a lot of it was delicous! Also there was a lot to choose from and the choices changed day to day a little bit - so no complaints there. Since we happened to be at the hotel on New Year's eve as well we had the pleasure of enjoying a special seven course dinner. The hotel had a very reliable transfer every day to the mountains (10min to Daolasa) and there was a specific room to store our snowboards and hang up our boots at special drying hooks which meant that every morning our boots were nice and warm. Unfortunately all of the other clothes we had to dry in our room on the one radiator that we had. Also some mornings it was cold in our room but the again in the afternoon it was hot and stuffy. Having a refrigerator in the room would have been nice because we had to use the windowsill outside our window to cool down our beverages.

Reviewed By livo3This is a great place to stay on the outskirts of Male, up an exceptionally steep hill - hence the stunning views. The owner was so friendly and drove us to and from a restaurant in town which was a really nice touch! The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was very good with excellent coffee. The only downside we found was that we couldn't get any wifi.

Reviewed By T SIncredible B&B. Its a large house that is fitted with entirely new fixtures, fittings, furniture, etc - trendy shower, lamps, curtains, everything. The hostess is so lovely - she invited me to have lunch with her sister and friends and she is a fantastic cook. There is an unlimited choice for breakfast - fresh fruit, scrambled eggs on toast with pancetta, yoghurt, cereal, anything. She also helped me make some calls to arrange my next accommodation and her son drove me about the town. Can't think of anything to fault it. It's pure heaven. I'm staying an extra night.

Reviewed By Diana2109238Nice stay in family owned hotel - clean, comfortable and reasonable price. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. There are restaurant where you can have rich lunch or dinner only for 12 EUR including drink.
