To be frank I have visited many resorts and corporate hotels but the happiness and joyful is overwhelming here than anywhere. The employee’s where soo sweet and hospitality is 100 marks out off 100. The property owner is a blessed person as the employee take care on customer to the beyond level. 1, The food is yummy and super tasty 2, The rooms cleanliness are awesome 3, The location and the view of the property is fantastic 4, The spread on the breakfast is great Thanks to Chief Ram mainly, he is the person who take care of every needs of us in the entire stay. The food he prepared for us is beyond tasty. Thank you Ram for making our stay beautiful and memorable.

Reviewed By joyeetab2019Cardamom County is situated right across the Periyar tiger reserve. An aesthetically done up landscape and interiors. Very helpful staff both in Front office and restaurant. We loved the breakfast that we ordered as well as the snack items. The gardener showed us around the huge organic farm,growing all the kitchen produce . Every corner of the property is worth looking at.

Spice Village is an eco resort in the hills(thekkady) near the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. A cluster of tribal style huts set in a beautiful spice garden is a great escape for most tourists from the heat of the plains, and also a great place for some adventure activities. We have a comfortable pool, an ayurvedic spa, we organise treks into the forest, bamboo rafting and many more. A walk through the property itself is a great way to explore many aspects of nature and the green initiatives undertaken at this eco resort.

Especially the naturalist made a special bond with our kids and spent time with them, which helped us relax and enjoy our stay. Even they took care of the infants and babies of the guests when their parents were enjoying their meals. They went beyond their job duties to ensure a pleasant stay for the guests

They were very careful to ensure our comfortable and happy stay. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. Rooms were very big and well arranged. Room had a spacious balcony with greenery all around. Washroom and linen were very neat and clean. Jobin was very helpful in planning or activities in Thekkady. And all this comfort at a very nominal price. I can say without any doubt that this is one of the best budget stay in Thekkady.

Reviewed By Dorcia007At first, we planned to stay at Woodside Residency only for 3 nights, but due to friendly atmosphere and very good living conditions, we decided to extend our visit (so overall we spent there 6 nights).The Hotel Manager Dinesh took care of everything, thanks to his hospitality, he made our stay a very pleasant experience. The Hotel Staff was very kind, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable. For us, Dinesh organized trips, massages and even a wonderful dinner on the Hotel's rooftop. He managed to find for us a comfy bus that took us to Kochi. Not only the bus was in reasonable price, but also there was no problem with the space for our baggages (which could not be easy as we were a group of 15 people). Dinesh also showed us Kerala (it is a really charming place that we liked very much). We definitely will come back to this Hotel, Dinesh and all those lovely, warm-hearted people that works there. The worst food in Kumily area
Reviewed By sonyk2017The worst food you can get. I was shocked this place is still full. Never recommended. I ordered Biryani and the meat was not even cooked properly. They have a nice location and probably that is what they are still busy. I am so sorry to see an establishment ripping off customers like this

Breakfast is also very tasty. They have managed and maintained this place very nicely. Overall good ambiance. There are many points to visit like wildlife century, marshal art show and much more. Romantic place for couples.

Reviewed By Vivek0990The hosts are very friendly. The hosts helped us in knowing at what time which activity will be effective and we enjoyed a really nice trip. This was my first time driving in a hill station and had some issues also. Mr.Bastin(Host) came to know this and made sure he took us to places in his own car, where we want to go and made my trip easier. This place is very near to Elephant camp which has lot of other activities too and also near to Periyar bus and boat ticket booking Counter from where we can board the bus, which will take us to Boat Ride in MullaiPeriyar Dam. The rooms are VERY CLEAN that my wife got impressed of the maintenance of the Homestay. For me it was like as if I went to my relative's house and had a very good time. Will definitely plan to go again.
