A lovely place to stay in Kala Nera
Reviewed By EgeanaAlkifron is a family hotel where you will be welcomed very warmly. Very convenient location in Kala Nera, closer to the central road than to the center of the village, which is for me the best solution: close enough (a few minutes) by foot to the beach and the restaurants, but far enough to park easily your car and have quiet nights. The owner, Aspa, and her team, are lovely and caring persons, always there to deliver the best service, give suggestions or share a nice conversation. The rooms are very clean, branded bedding top notch. The shared central external place is a lovely place to sit or having a coffee. Breaksfasts are homemade, with fresh fruits, local eggs and incredible home made marmelades (unforgettable santarosa plum!). I recommend this place very warmly.

Reviewed By CNG2000PROS: Fair value for money. Nice and friendly personnel. Small room (Apartment Pelion) but completely enough for 2 Audits + 2 Children. Basic equipped kitchenette. Excellent location as starting point to explore both Pelion and Sporades Islands (relatively close to Volos/Ferries). Good internet connectivity. Calm place with beautiful garden. Available private parking place just right to the property. Small clean beach. CONS: Pebbled beach (no sand) - but this was not in our agenda for the concrete trip.

Reviewed By ZisigWe visited hotel Agelis with family so we could attend at a wedding near by! We loved the hotel, it had very stylish and modern decoration, spacious rooms with really good facilities. The breakfast was fantastic freshly served at your choice each day. The rooms had air condition units but we didn’t need to put turn them on at all during our stay as they had a really nice breeze coming through the window and the temperature was great. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. There is absolutely nothing we could ask them for or to help us with that they said they couldn’t do and always with a smile. It’s a very professional family run hotel that makes you feel at home in a very beautiful location just a minute walk from restaurants and cafes in front of the sea. If you rent a car you can visit other areas at Pelion which are really beautiful near by. It’s the perfect place for a family holiday and if you book it you definitely won’t regret it.

Reviewed By sufip2019The hotel is small and very clean, the pool is really nice and well maintened. The rooms are very well equiped with kitchen and fridge as well and they have also balconies. The family that runs it are very kind and ready to help. The sea is only 3 minutes away.

Good Location but not quite 4 Star
Reviewed By chipster2016The hotel is ideally located close to beach and tavernas. The rooms are spotless. The staff are very friendly. However we were allocated room 202 which is at the rear of the hotel overlooking a car park, 2 other hotels and a building site. The area was exceedingly noisy at all hours. (Bins emptied at 3:0am). The bathroom was small and the shower curtain was a nightmare for anyone over 5' 6"" tall. There was a central pivot point in the corner from which radiated metal rods to support the curtain. Unfortunately these rods were only about 65 inches high. The breakfast was very large but wasteful. The fruit was all rock-hard and inedible. Chocolate croissants were included but were all foil wrapped as sold in supermarkets. There is a bakery 20 metres down the road where fresh produce could have been purchased. Lubo, the Sunvil rep was excellent. He was always available when needed and kept us informed of trip bookings etc. at all times. We enjoyed easy walks to Kiropi and Kala Gatzia, largely through olive groves, with the aid of sketch maps provided by Lubo. We enjoyed some excellent meals at the Pagasitikos but slow service required a good sense of humour at times.

Reviewed By Pam BCharming family run hotel - quiet location, terrific staff and nice ocean view from our room. We were only there for one night but would have stayed longer if we could. Especially loved being in a quieter part of town in an olive grove but still close to the water.

Tastefully done lobby, personal touch in all the details, fragrant candles at the front door of the hotel, incredible flowers and plants in the garden. Wonderful hosts! Perfect location with everything you need just a tiny walk away., the beach, shops, taverns, cafes.
