Reviewed By Glen2397I took 2 friends for lunch with there baby and was very impressed with the service I had one of the burgers and I’d even say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. The waitresses were very kind and very helpful as we needed hot water for the baby’s feed and was more than happy to help us. We will definitely be back.

Walking in the hotel we were met by a lovely and friendly receptionist who booked us all in very quickly and was very helpful. The rooms were clean, fresh and spacious. Plenty of those toiletries you need and a good choice of coffee and tea which were replaced daily. Beds gave a comfortable night's sleep after busy days exploring the Ayrshire area and the hotel is ideally located, with good access to the road network. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality but I did expect traditional square sausage and not links but then some may prefer links to square. We did eat other meals in the hotel and were not disappointed. The hotel staff are a real friendly bunch and got to say the team servicing the rooms were brilliant, forget the room standards, you expect that but the friendliness and greetings plus how they made my grandson feel so special..... outstanding does not describe the team we don't often see. Incidentally my wife and I spent our honeymoon here 38 years ago when it was the Skean Dhu.

Completely renovated and restored and extended, Braidmead opened its doors on January 2010.With all modern facilities means Braidmead house is simply superb value. Only a short walk to some excellent local bars, restaurants and centrally positioned for all Ayrshires many fine golf courses. Each bedroom welcomes you with tea and coffee, hairdryers and flat screen television, safe and free wifi. Free gym and sauna use.

Reviewed By Trace32Great sized room and the bed was so comfy I have been to the Hilton and the bed wasn’t comfy . Loved that the room had a fridge and a microwave tho didn’t use it. Would definetly stay again. Also was a great price and we got late checkout which was good

Loved it, the accommodation was wonderful and we loved that it was so near to a large shopping centre with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The shower was fantastic and very powerful, heating brilliant. Cleaner was in daily and even cleaned up the mess we left with birthday confetti bomb! We would’ve cleaned it but were beaten to it! The only things missing were a brighter light in the main room and a large mirror there too, for us ladies when we are drying our hair. Very peaceful overnight too.

Reviewed By Ann Bstayed here one night booked through booking,com. when you arrive at property you phone the number and nick the friendly guy on phone gives you instruction code for door and where your room key is located.The room no 3 ground floor back of property . had a comfy double bed, lovely pillows ,lovely cozy well decorated room an ensuite shower not too big but all you need the place is very tastefully decorated ,good wifi.tea coffee etc .I will return as most peaceful stay comfy bed and pillows

Great stay in Irvine Guest House
Reviewed By colin bI've stayed in Nick's properties in Irvine a couple of times now & whilst I can recommend both I found the Irvine Guest House Irvine Guest House was ideal for me, located just off the main street in Irvine. I stayed in Room 3 a super en-suite double complete with Netflix which was a bonus, the room is well furnished and having no-one above was wonderfully quiet. I found that communication was excellent, as always, with Nick providing all the information needed before arrival. What was also appreciated was the complimentary tea / coffee & biscuits replenished daily with the bed also being made up daily, the local info was useful in providing me with a super dinner at a local restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Irvine itself is a nice quiet town with some lovely buildings and streets with a vibrant shopping centre, pubs & restaurants, it's well served by local buses & trains and the Irvine Guest House has private off street parking adjacent. Overall a super place & great stay whilst in Ayrshire.

Reviewed By belle72We stayed in lodge number 6 last night Couldn’t fault the facilities or cleanliness Biggest fluffiest white towels ever Everything you could need was provided , fridge, iron and ironing board , Nespresso machine and great range of tea and coffee Lovely wee extras too , Irn Brew ,Tunnocks biscuits and a wee rubber duck to take home Plenty of space to store and dry golf clothing and equipment too Unfortunately the weather was not great so we couldn’t sit outside but each lodge has a furnished patio We had a great time and hope to return

Much too small for 2 people. View at the back of BUILDING SITE AND RUBBISH DUMP
Reviewed By trinny_10Booked to stay here for 7 nights for 2 people. To begin with, the room is far too small for 2 people. Extremely cramped. Also we werent informed that we would have a view of a massive building site. Also the garden terrace view is a actually a rubbish dump full of old broken furniture and other rubbish that was more likely once used in the building. We complained and were sent to stay in Adamton Country House Hotel which was in the middle of nowhere, not the beach view that we had wanted. In fact this hotel was awful but thats another story. The guy who owned Marine View must have got his mates to give good reviews as I cant understand why anyone would find this place adequate for even a one night stay. In fact when asked by Booking.Com why we left a bad review, the guy who owns Marine View even had the cheek to say we never even arrived.
