Relaxing and fantastic base for travelling

We booked this hotel last minute. An excellent choice if you wish to unwind in a picturesque and tranquil setting. Early morning awakening in the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna, followed by tasty breakfast before setting off to discover the wonders of the Scottish Highlands. We followed the hotel online guide for Glen Etive (stunning and worth the drive) and went onto Port Appin for dinner before coming back to the hotel. Thanks for the staff for suggesting another evening drive to Tarbert - quaint harbour village. Helpful staff accommodating if you have a halal diet, good suggestions for local seafood restaurants. Nice bedroom, quiet and good range of teas etc ( came in useful for filling our flask in preparation for Loch Etive picnic). Hoping to return again next June. Long days and evenings enjoying the amazing scenery.

Very poor service

Reviewed By yzat181

The service was so bad, most of the staff either ignored or were "miserable" when serving customers. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and the meals at dinner time were average at best. Overpriced for standard of rooms, meals and service. Most staff were unpleasant and some were just rude. It was that bad we decided we would not go back to Inverary if that was the standard to expect. Fortunately on the last evening we went to the George Hotel - the staff were so pleasant, nothing was too difficult and the standard of meals in the restaurant was excellent. I would never stay or eat at the Inverary Inn again and would certainly not recommend.

We stayed at Willow Cottage, it was clean and the beds were super comfy. Little Mimi, our wee rescue toy poodle thoroughly enjoyed herself. It is only 10 minutes from Inverary, and the wifi was amazing. To only have been open for a year or so, the service from Anson and Jennie was amazing.
