Reviewed By ireeeee7567157Small nice hotel near to the center. The room was big, the bed was really comfortable and the ambient was quiet and nice. Great breakfast. We really enjoyed our time there. The best thing has been the staff, warm and lovely and really educated and gentil. We'll definitely advice it. Gracias!

Reviewed By GeorgiosTsakFirst time in a masseria but it was excellent. The building it self is nice and spacious and certainly loved it. Stone built blends with its surroundings very nice ! The location is in the middle of the Italian county. Is very quite and nice Also the staff are very friendly and trying to make you feel at home. A nice touch is also the use of local products in the breakfast! It is quite far from any city (Francavilla is 4.5km away). Also you have to drive ¬0.5km in dirt road.

The rooms, an ancient trullo and lamie, overlook a large courtyard of chianche, all with private entrance, private outdoor area with table, chairs and deck chairs. Each room is different and designed with attention to every detail. A charming breakfast area overlooking the pool and olive trees. Sweet and savory breakfast, as you prefer. WIFI in all rooms. Ulivialsole opened merely a month ago with no reviews when we booked we took a punt in opting to stay here. imagine our delight in arriving to find a place that far exceeded our expectations. Set in the beautiful countryside of Puglia nestled amongst an olive grove Ulivialsole is a magical oasis that you'll never want to leave. Designed by owner Patrizia the buildings compliment the arid landscape enhancing the restored ancient structure and Trulli. Each of the five bedrooms are unique and elegantly furnished with luxury linens and furnishings modern luxury meets rustic country vintage. Powerful rain showers, luxury cotton towels for our room, complimentary drinks, toiletries plus the most comfortable beds as well as the powerful and much needed AC all made our stay all the more perfect. Patrizia and Enzo are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble, this place is clearly a labour of love and their passion for the area and their B&B is infectious. Breakfast is served outside on the terrace overlooking the pool, it consists of locally sourced hams, cheeses, amazing yogurts (we'll miss those!), eggs cooked to order and freshly baked cakes/quiches. Guests also have access to a small kitchenette equipped with gas burners, microwave, kettle and coffee machine and a fridge full of complimentary mineral waters, fruit nd snacks. There is also a brand new BBQ so it is very easy to stay in and cook a simple supper if you don't fancy the 20 minute drive to the nearest town Cheglie where you will find all manner of entertainment and restaurants/supermarkets etc. You will need a car staying here as it is blissfully remote or a chauffeur service can be organised if you'd rather not have the stress of a car or battling with italian drivers! Ulivialsole is well positioned for exploring the beauty of Puglia a mere 30 minute drive to the beautiful turquoise blue beaches of Ostuni that is if you drag yourself away from the pristine pool...we spent many a day lounging by the pool, after a very hearty breakfast we ate lovely fruit for lunch, picking the sweetest figs from the tree by the pool only heading out to eat in the local restaurants in the evening but always enjoying our little terrace upon our return with a bottle of wine! Perfect for famillies and couple looking to enjoy a genuine slice of Puglian life!

Paradise among the olive trees
Reviewed By Viggo SMari who runs the masseria with her mother and brother is one of the best and kindest hosts i have ever met. Very relaxed and easy to talk to. The pricing was very good compared to other masserias who charged about the double. She made us feel so cared for that the language barrier was not an issue. She gave us great tips for restaurants and day trips. We had a few lazy days by the pool and nice breakfasts in this beautiful house. The olive oil they produce is fantastic, so i suggest buy some to take with you. We were very sad to leave... The only negative is perhaps that the nearest beach is about 25-30 min away and that the bees liked the pool as much as us.

Reviewed By m0nicaalexVery beautiful and charming place! The house is really big and the terrain is huge. It has a beautiful outdoor pool and a magical garden with a Trullo in the middle. There is also a big parking lot and the whole place is well secured and peaceful. It is a perfect choice if you would like to explore Puglia because of its strategical position in the middle between the Adriatic coast on the east and the Mediterranean coast on the west. However, a car is a must because the Masseria is not located in urban area even though it is easily reachable from Francavilla Fontana in less than 15 minutes. The hosts, Toni, his wife and Irene are very kind and helpful and gave us recommendations about what to visit, where to eat and more tips. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to combine both relax by the pool and various daily trips to the amazing towns and places around!
