Difficult to get in and out of town without car
Reviewed By jacquelineab35We had originally booked 2 nights accommodation in the centre of town as we were travelling by train and wanted to experience life in the centre of Modena. Unfortunately our B&B in the centre had double booked us and the nearest available accommodation at short notice was here (approx. 5 miles out of town). I’m sure it’s a great place to stay if you have a car and want to explore the area. However being without a car we had to pay for taxis into and out of town which took about 15 mins and cost about €20 per journey. This was inconvenient but the main issue was the lack of taxis. The hotel very kindly ordered taxis into town but it proved very difficult to get a taxi to bring us back. We gave up in the end and had to spend the final evening in the hotel’s restaurant rather than experiencing the nightlife in the town centre as planned.

Good location to visit Ferrari Museum
Reviewed By IlseSCTGood budget hotel. What you get is what you see. Good breakfast. You will need a car though as the closest shop is not within walking distance. The hotel restaurant is also closed on Sunday nights. There is air conditioning in the rooms, but not very good. Safe parking on the premises and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By FleurhawksWe only stayed for 1 night but the staff were so friendly. The rooms are large and we had a balcony outside. The Bathrooms are huge as well and everything spotlessly clean. Very good continental breakfast the next morning. Would stay again.

Reviewed By ErrabondiI don't know where to start to recommend Il Melograno. From the kindness of the owners, from the cleanliness or from the attention to details (not to mention the food)? I would probably say from the sensation of being "at home on vacation": pampered, with a unique welcome and exceptional kindness. The location is in a perfect position to visit Modena, Sassuolo and Maranello. I strongly recommend il Melograno, it has been an amazing experience.

Reviewed By Lugano_JoeSpent 1 night with family. Our expectations where not high - we wanted a place to sleep, bit enough for 4, not crazily expensive with breakfast. Well, this solution met out expectations - we got an apartment, pretty big. Heating was ok. Clean. The sofa bed was not too confortable. Toliette clean and right size. We also had a kitchen that we did not use. Breakfast could have been much better...it is pretty basic for an Agriturismo. Overall, this is a good stay if you are looking for something practical.

Country getaway
Reviewed By sirtsiIt was so relaxing to stay in the countryside away from the hustle of the city and enjoy the hospitality of the staff. We had a spacious room in two floors, but since it was just the two of us we only used the downstairs. Everything was nice and clean but the room was quite dark at least in March. I liked the fact that our bathroom had two sinks. The breakfast was okay, however it wasn't possible to have dinner in this agriturismo.

Great value for money
Reviewed By Sarahs2121We stayed here as a stop off while driving north in italy. A lovely hotel, clean rooms, great decor/character, friendly staff and formigine is a very cute town! Also a much cheaper option for exploring Modena if you have a car.
