Reviewed By Helen OAfter an interesting afternoon I was looking for a quite restaurant with quality food and certainly found both at La Casona Restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful with my limited Italian then some staff spoke English. Even though it was 25* outside it felt like 17* at 8.30 so the fire that was kept going by the young chef was welcoming and added atmosphere. After ordering the grilled lamb cutlets, I was given a a tray of hot bread and a complimentary starter of Carrot and orange cream sauce (cold) that was delicious and then came the cutlets. I could have nearly licked the plate clean except for the hot crusty rolls that saved my reputation. The red wine chosen by the waiter was perfect.

Reviewed By AlpineTrailsCoUkSpent a night here after finishing the AV2. A bit on the expensive side for a hiker but reflected in the value. Modern and well positioned within walking distance from both train station and city centre. The room was clean, decorated with modern furniture, had a minibar and nice view over the city and mountains. Tv, aircon and seif. Everything electric and connected to a card. Bathroom was clean. Bed was king size and comfortable. Wish I had more time there. Left very early in the morning so I can not comment on breakfast.

Outstanding locale and hosts
Reviewed By rawsonh2018Ulisse and Klara hosted us (ten cyclists) in outstanding fashion for a week in Feltre. They had a number of nice touches including bike stands and beer on tap (yea!). The rooms were about as expected, but the record-breaking heat took it's toll on us. They're recently renovated dining/kitchen area was an absolute delight and worked well for us and the recommended chef who came and cooked. High marks all the way around!

Reviewed By AnneitaliaJust when we thought that this lovely B&B could not improve any more on its professionalism, friendliness and focus, they go and surprise us again. Our request to leave bags downstairs as we would be arriving earlier than anticipated, resulted in Isabella and Silvio pulling out all the stops to ensure that our room was ready to move into and all done with big smiles. We were also very happy to find that their attention to a green environment had encouraged them to change the old hob in the apartment to a brand new induction hob. This is a wonderful place to stay, very relaxing and friendly, a beautifully kept garden. A lovely, personable family. Situated within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and with great views from some of the rooms. We look forward to our visit here every year.

Since 1989, thanks to its ever growing professionalism and friendliness, the Biesuz family has been able to turn Hotel Restaurant Sagittario into an important reference point in the area of Feltre both for its well known cuisine, which is supervised personally by one of the owners, and for the welcoming hotel which has been recently renovated. The hotel is on the borders of the Parco delle Dolomiti Bellunesi, along the main road which connects Feltre to Belluno.

Reviewed By artandvinoThis is not a fancy restaurant but it is a solid place for having typical food from the region. The service is better than most places and the wine list is also quite adequate. It's a rather large restaurant but feels cosy and comfortable. We were accommodated when they were out of an ingredient, or when undecided, they do a taste of a few things. It felt very family oriented.

Reviewed By Lms_LaFeltre is a town located in the mountains north of Italy. Not a lot of tourist there, but worth a trip (via a car or train). We stayed at Casagrande. Very nice and quaint. Beautiful view of the mountains from our room. Staff only speaks Italian, so have your translator handy.
