Bfast was super large and severed on a restaurant overlooking the sea. Absolutely reccomended. Spend a week here. It'll make you new.

Reviewed By V2434TEdanielbWe really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment and it's owner are both lovely. The apartment is nicely decorated and has good facilities and each room is a decent size. The apartment is also right next to the beach. The owner is very kind and welcoming and he offers an authentic sweet Sicilian breakfast. Great value for money, we would recommend staying at this apartment!

The B&B Hotel is very lovely arranged with a nice big garden, and the owners care very much and nicely about their guests. It is very recommendable if someone wants to have a quiet relaxing time for reading, swimming, thinking or beachwalking or the like.

La struttura è un vecchio casale finemente ristrutturato da un noto architetto locale, dove il passato e il presente si intrecciano facendo respirare agli ospiti un senso totale di relax : possono lasciarsi cullare dalla natura in quanto circondati da alberi d’ulivo ed un ampio giardino dotato di solarium e piscina, oppure appartarsi nelle loro camere , arredate con mobili di pregio e dotate di tutti i confort. Otto camere per un totale di 20 posti letto, inoltre è presente un’ampia cucina esterna a disposizione degli ospiti . Siamo posizionati in un luogo strategico su una piccolo colle a soli 200 passi dal mare ove è possibile ammirarlo da ogni angolo della struttura. Ci troviamo a pochi km da Scicli , Modica e Marina di Ragusa. Donnalucata è un piccolo borgo di pescatori di origini antichissime, meta turistica apprezzata per le sue splendide spiagge di sabbia dorata, come quelle di Ponente e di Micenci. Il suo lungomare ha fatto da palcoscenico alle memorabili passeggiate del commissario Montalbano, il personaggio uscito dalla penna di Camilleri.

E' ideale per una coppia che vuole rilassarsi, fare qualche giorno di mare e visitare la Sicilia Barocca: Noto, Modica, Scicli, Marzememi, Ragusa Ibla, ecc.. Hotel ubicato su un poggio, appunto, dal quale si scende facilmente alla spiaggia sottostante di Donnalucata. Nuovo, stanze molto grandi, pulitissime. Ottima la zona piscina per rilassarsi. Colazione abbondante, con torte fatte in casa dalla proprietaria. Sia lei, sia il direttore molto attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Consigliatissimo.

The B&B Spiaggia di Ponente is a flat near the beach of Donnalucata, just 50 meters walking distance from the free sand beach of Donnalucata, and its part of the town of Scicli. The flat has 4 en-suite rooms with air conditioning. We prepare a homemade breakfast with typical Sicilian products. We have free parking in front off the b and b. We are just 5 min by car from Scicli and around 20 minutes from Modica and Ragusa.

Reviewed By cscallusSpotlessly clean and tidy, quiet area, on lungomare, very nice area to go out on foot in the evening, where you can find a good choice of restaurants, bars and gelaterias. Fresh and delicious breakfast. Modica & Ragusa are less than 30 minutes drive. Mr Sandro made it easy for us by giving us information about the area and Scicli, very caring.

It is just steps from the immense golden beach of Donnalucata, a pretty seaside village where you can enjoy fresh fish and typical dishes of local gastronomy. A few miles away you can reach Scicli, Modica and Ragusa, enchanting baroque cities.
Friendly, relaxing, very Italian!
Reviewed By KaVee2013Such a nice place to stay, all wrapped up in the fact that this small town is really a charming delight, so relaxing and so very Italian. Rooms: the room we had was more like a little downstairs studio apartment with three beds. Spacious but basic. You have to look after yourself, down to buying a lighter for the small gas hob, as well as sugar and salt (if you need it). Fittings a little run down but everything very clean. And somehow this didn't matter and sort of fitted the sea-salty vibe of the whole place. We did choose the least expensive room on the ground floor (we think) which was not air conditioned. But this didn't really matter as the ground floor was relatively cool and the rotating fan is just perfect. Not much privacy as there was a family opposite who, in true Italian style, sat outside every night. Our little terrace was directly opposite theirs. No view to speak of. But our neighbours were super -friendly and we had lovely chats with them and helped their kids feed the stray cats that appear every now and then. If you were planning to stay in the room (we spent most days at the beach), I would definitely consider spending a bit more to take a room on an upper floor. This one can get a bit cave-like. But for the price, everything completely serviceable. Wifi worked great all over the grounds. The people: So lovely, so helpful. The pool area: Really nice and very comfortable. Never crowded as mostly folks are down at the beach. Location: This is great. It is up the hill, a little way away from the beach and the busy nightlife (and when I say busy, I mean Italian families promenading up and down the boardwalk or having dinner or icecream...there's a sort of teenage disco area and an outdoor cinema (only in Italian) but that's pretty much it) so really nice and quiet. It's about an 8-10 minute walk away from where the bus from Catania comes in. If you're just staying in Donnalucata, you don't need a car. All in all, such a lovely stay. I would recommend it although I think next time we'll not be so tight and try and get a room/place with a bit more outdoor space and privacy.

A wonderful stay

The welcoming is made by a lovely couple that answered all our questions and suggested us to try some local restaurants and things to see during our stay. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable, very quiet and spacious. During my travels I usually love to find a place that is peaceful and that reminds me the simplicity and the comfort that I have at home and I can say that this place is like that. I also found a shower that had a good pressure and my boyfriend enjoied it a lot. We will surely return to this B&B and I strongly reccommend it.

Reviewed By Maria-Mirella RWohnung in einer ruhigen Wohngegend-kostenloser Parkplatz vor der Tür. Wohnung ist für 2 Personen gut ausgestattet mit Waschmaschine und Backofen und Grill. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß mit einem tollen Blick aufs Meer. Das einzige was noch gefehlt hat, sind Sonnenliegen für die Terrasse. Nachteil: die Terasse wird gern als Tauben Klo genutzt;-)).man muss es täglich säubern....
