Reviewed By Barbara DI was pleasantly surprised by how nice this Hampton Inn was. This was our last night in Panama after staying at a number of ecolodges and other places. The staff were excellent and really helpful. Food was also extremely good. Room was clean and well designed.

We stayed at the resort in very comfortable rooms pre/post of experiencing a magical catamaran trip through Coiba Unesco Marine Park for 3 nights/4 full days. We swam and snorkeled with turtles, tropical fish, saw dolphins, heard howler monkeys, kayaked. LOVED every moment, great food on board and terrific staff on boat. We hightly recommend it.

Reviewed By brade959Great little hotel. Pool and hot tub are amazing. River is running right beside the pool. Fantastic views. Great free breakfast including mimosas and Bloody Mary bar. Comfy beds. The town is a little gem. Can’t wait to come back to Boquete and this hotel.

Breakfast 3 course was delicious both mornings thankyou. Need car to drive into downtown but Kevin at front desk will arrange tours easily. Would highly recommend. Only disappointment was lack of Happy Hour as advertised. We were looking foward to meeting some fellow travellers. Grounds quiet and spotless

It is a beautiful five bedroom hotel with enormous, nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms, a/c, security boxes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, sunscreen, luxurious towels, boogie boards, a ping pong table, games books, a great infinity pool with a llama raft and amazing views on all sides. They offer a well-stocked bar, signature cocktails and smoothies as well as breakfast lunch and dinner. We enjoyed fresh fish for dinner. The service is outstanding….Melvin & Maves were the best staff! The very charming and accommodating owner, Jenni, can make arrangements for a boat to take you to the idyllic outer islands in the Boca Chica Marine Park or a guided tour to a huge waterfall and indigenous village. There’s a lovely fairly secluded beach that is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk away from the resort. We saw green parrots and iguanas and could hear the howler monkeys in the distance. The sunsets are spectacular and there’s a special area with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the ever changing sky as the sun sets. With only 5 rooms, it is a fantastic place for a retreat with family and/or friends and you could have the whole place to yourself! All the rooms have great views, but the Parida Suite is extra special! We found El Regalo (the gift) Resort to be a real gem and we recommend it highly!

A true tropical paradise made even better by its attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Imagine having breakfast on their outdoor patio and seeing toucans just a few feet away, or watching a family of howler monkeys in the trees in the evening. We would come back here in a heartbeat. FYI- the lodge sits on a hill and is about 100 steps down (and 100 steps back up) to the beach, dock, and beach bar. So this would be a challenge for anyone mobility impaired.

Reviewed By Sally KGreat location, easy walk to downtown, wonderful staff especially the breakfast lady, beautiful views. I was able to open both patio doors and get a lovely breeze. The desert picture was from the restaurant, which was excellent. I thought the price was high for this time of year, at $150 per night for suite #2. My only issue was the cleanliness of the shower. The picture shows the mold/mildew on the shower door track. That bathroom smelled bad, especially the last night when it rained. I could smell the mildew ftom the bed. A little bleach twice a week would take care of that, and they need to clean the whole door track, from outside and inside (with the shower door closed, that is where it is really bad)). I don't know how previous guests could have missed that. I did report it to the front desk, but I don't think the lady knew what I meant by shower door track.

Reviewed By dieserMuellerThree of us have visit the TreeTrek and Coffee tour You can go by car by yourselves or Take the tour bus (I would use the own car as you can spend more time) The guide was very nice and interested in to show the story of the Coffee on the trees direct which was very good After the tour outdoor we went in and he give us a explanation of how coffee is roasted and a tasting of the Local „Geisha“ and „Cathurra“ coffee beans After all I can recommend the tour and product The coffee house / restaurant was on our day congested and not very fast to be honest

Reviewed By Susan1inPhoenixBeautiful location, but not much more. The "villas" are actually small barely-furnished houses in which the kitchens are not stocked at all. If you wanted salt, you would need to buy it. The food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre. We had one meal and did not dine there again. I suppose the particular villa is hit or miss. The close neighbor to our villa had three barking dogs.
