Beautiful location and very well managed
Reviewed By Gladys63_10I organised a nature tour in May for a group of English people and we stayed at Agriturismo Bergi for two nights. Everyone was bowled over by the well-kept and cared for feel of the place, the lovely gardens that you could wander around in and where you could easily find a quiet spot for reading, the swimming pool - which was a joy under the hot sun and big enough to swim lengths in, the delicious and copious breakfasts, and the lovely views of groves and mountains. The staff could not have been more helpful in the run up to the tour, and were very solicitous and charming once we arrived. One of the women cleaning the rooms even agreed to give a small party a taxi ride into town! We did a honey tasting on the first evening which was well presented and kept the whole group entertained - needless to say the honey was delicious and each type surprisingly different. I will be going back to Bergi whether I organise another tour or not - it's the perfect place for R&R and I could imagine basing myself there for a week.

4 stars hotel, only 2 minutes from the center of Castelbuono Just 400 meters from the medieval town center of Castelbuono and the Castle of the Ventimiglia, nestled between the slopes of Piano Battaglia and the the Norman sea side town of Cefalu is Paradiso delle Madonie an elegant 4 star hotel renovated from an old building. It has 16 rooms including single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, finely furnished and equipped with every comfort: air conditioning and heating, safe box, minibar, TV, hairdryer, telephone. Wi-fi access is free throughout the hotel area. Small and medium size pets are welcome. It is an excellent starting point for all excursions in the natural reserve of the Madonie Park: Trekking, mountain biking, quad biking, horse riding and off-road.

A very charming, personal, B&B
Reviewed By JenniferJamesWe had the Verde room. The room's stone walls are gorgeous and full of character. The entire property is being lovingly restored by the family, overseen by the delightful Lorenzo. We chose the Verde room because it was on the inside courtyard. The Rossa room has a kitchenette. The Verde room doesn't have an electric kettle for making tea/coffee, which we would have appreciated, but Lorenzo is a purist who doesn't believe in putting sachets of coffee in the room because it is not "Italian", meaning the quality is not what Italians would consider acceptable for a cup of coffee. (There is a high-quality coffee maker in the Rossa room). The bathroom is modern and has an excellent hairdryer - not the on-the-wall variety. Towel warmer was appreciated on cool mornings. There is secure parking in the property's courtyard and there is a restaurant next door. There is WiFi at the property. A highlight of the B&B is breakfast offered at the world-famous Fiasconaro bakery, gelateria and all-around gourmet's haven. It is no more than 10 mins easy walk from the B&B right in the main square of Castelbuono. It's not breakfast of the bacon & eggs variety, but the typical Italian breakfast. Lorenzo runs his family's B&B lovingly and with pride. He is an absolute delight. So helpful. Speaks a little English and tries hard to do everything possible to help with anything you need. He's very proud of his beautiful town of Castelbuono and its ancient heritage. We enjoyed our stay.

Dispone di parcheggio privato. Le stanze sono comode e dotate di frigo, TV, phon, aria condizionata. La proprietaria è una persona disponibile, gentilissima ed empatica. Reviewed By Olalla VOur stay in b&b panorama house was perfect! The communication before arriving was easy. The place is cosy, clean, spacious, quiet, has air conditionair and all the facilities. The situation is really good with marvellous views. You can see the stars at night and practise yoga in the morning :) The yuumy breakfast was unexpected, Teresa prepare us a variety of delicious fruits and bakery. We had a really good time and enjoy the room. We absolutly recomend it!

Comfortable Stay in Serene Countryside with Great Dinner!

The restaurant was open on a Tuesday evening and the dinner we had there was the best of our 2-week tour of Sicily with delicious pasta first courses and perfectly cooked meat dishes for seconds ... perfectly paired with one of their wines "Passomaggio" which we loved. The dinner was more expensive than the room, but totally worth it. The countryside around the hotel reminded us of the more quintessential/Tuscan Italy ... more than the rest of Sicily. Nicely located relatively close to Cefalu and the quaint village of Castelbuono where we were able to partake of the famous panettone and crema of pistacchio of the Fiasconaro bakery during Easter week. The hotel and restaurant were relatively empty since we were traveling during the off-season but that also meant the pool wasn't open yet. I could see this a cooler place to be in the hot summer months. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it immensely!

Reviewed By Wander553425Beautiful gardens and small terraces make this a charming villa. Comfortable and clean accommodation, with a good mix of local sweet and savouries for breakfast. Don’t be put of by the steep unmetalled access. A manageable 20 minute walk into town.

Reviewed By Suzanne VWe were in this magnificent place for 4 nights. Views are amazing and letizia the host is super. Towels are changed everyday. ( no need to ask ) and after 2 nights even the sheets are changed !!! Breakfast is brought by letizia herself on the time you agreed the day before.You won't find the cleaniness in these apts nowhere else. It was such an amzing experience.
