Location is just beautiful with a crystal clear sea, hot but always windy enough to make you feel good. Personnel is lovely, from cleaning ladies, facility maintenance up to receptionist, bartenders, animation, and owners: a good and fair management is clearly and visibly spread around. You can feel positive energy, which will make your holidays just unforgettable. A very special thanks goes to Max, Francesca and all the staff of the SUBSPHERA DIVING for their professional and kind approach to diving, where also my youngest kiddo 10 years old could take his first diving license last year. It was so nice meeting and diving with them again. Highly recommended to all new and experienced divers (the Tremiti trip is just gorgeous). Thanks again everyone!

Reviewed By NatNewWorldVery nice hotel right on the sea. Spacious and nicely arranged rooms. The staff is also very pleasant. The prices are extremely low, especially for a hotel of this standard right on the beach. The food is also very good! In the whole area however, the internet and cellular service is quite poor, so on the one hand: no more online games for your kids and more swimming and reading, and pure relax, and on the other hand, you are simply not reachable.... (which also has it's advantages ) ;-)

Reviewed By Rdr1289Siamo stati oggi a pranzo in questo ristorante che conoscevamo già ma che non avevo ancora provato personalmente. Una scoperta fantastica! Un piccolo paradiso, completamente immerso nella natura, dotato anche di piscina con una vasca idromassaggio e lettini, infatti c'è possibilità di fare anche aperitivi a bordo piscina. Abbiamo pranzato all'aperto e nella bella stagione è la cosa più bella in questa location. Piatti ottimi, dagli antipasti ai primi e alle carni (cotte alla brace a vista) , consiglio assolutamente di provare gli arrosticini tagliati al coltello! Materie prime di ottima qualità e cucina tradizionale ma raffinata. Complimenti alle titolari di questa attività e a tutto lo staff per il loro lavoro minuzioso e per l'accoglienza, sembra di stare a casa ? Alla prossima!

Reviewed By sameduWe planned our stay in Casalbordino just as a stop on our way north of Italy... We regret now that we did not plan a longer stay. Il Tremolar della Marina was even more than we expected. It is a very cozy and fresh house surrounded by trees and the noise of crickets. It is so nice, that we faced the dilemma of staying here or going to the beach. The family that runs it is very kind and ready to answer all your questions and help you in any way. We got a very nice room on the second floor with a nice terrace facing the sea, which is just 8 or 10 minutes away walking. The room is comfortable and very clean. Although there is a road passing in front of the house, we did not have any trouble sleeping. In the morning, before a delicious breakfast, we took a walk up the hill, through the vineyards and olive trees, where we met Cesare "Il Postino," a retired man that grows grapes, olives and truffles. He gave us a bag full of grapes and told us about the region and the seasons. The beach is nice. I still have trouble accepting private beaches, but the public ones were ok, especially since the staff lent us a nice umbrella. In summary, I can definitely recommend Il Tremolar della Marina. A wonderful place with kind people and surrounded by beautiful nature.

La stanza è arredata con gusto, silenziosa nonostante la vicinanza della stazione, ed è pulitissima così come pulita ed accogliente è la zona comune dove Enzo mette a disposizione gratuitamente acqua fresca e caffè! La colazione è perfetta ed è servita nel bar , sempre di Enzo, al piano inferiore del b. & b. Cosa dire di più? Grazie davvero per l'accoglienza. Raccomandatissimo.

Reviewed By Joseph GI spent a whole week with relatives of a "piena pensione" plan (room, three meals, beach umbrella, and chairs). Hotel Calgary is a family-run business with a strong connection to Canada (the parents both lived in Calgary, Alberta, their first two of three children were born there and all speak English). The family is ever-present on the premises ensuring that everything runs smoothly and customer requests are dealt with; they have their own table in the dining hall and eat there all their lunches and dinners, sometimes just them sometimes with visiting friends. The room we had was fair size with all modern amenities; it was clean and comfortable. The meals are a real treat at Hotel Calgary. Every morning breakfast buffet (fruit, pastries, yogurts, cereals, coffee, etc.) is served on the front outdoor patio. Lunch and supper choices are selected by the guest the previous day and include a primo (appetizer), a secondo (main dish) and a side dish. At the end of each meal, you have a choice of fruit or granita (lemon sorbet). On Thursday evening there was a special dinner ("Abruzzese evening") where a lot of local specialties were served to the guests on the outdoor patio with music and later dancing. The cuisine at Hotel Calgary is creative and uses fresh local ingredients. The menu is varied, portions are just right, and it's simple but very delicious. The beach is right across the little road. It is clean, quiet and enjoyable. There is a bar-café on the premises where you can have, coffee, drinks or cocktails prior to meals and after meals. The service throughout is just impeccable and the price for the stay is most reasonable. Hotel Calgary is worth a return visit hands down.
