Reviewed By utkarsh270691My stay in East Park has always been a mixed bag. Initially the service was fair. As the years have passed, the service has deteriorated massively mainly due to one of the cashier's Mr. Ankit who is a rude sociopath and has no qualms treating guests as if they are dirt. It has now become an expensive place to stay with none of the service expected. So first, I did not book from MMT or Ibibo since I had an early check-in. The charges in MMT was 2069+ tax, they said that their rack rate was 4000. I had to fight for 10 mins before they gave me a room rate of 2800. Second - Not a single bell boy helps you get your luggage to your room (floor is lined with carpet , luggage is difficult to drag. Third - Checkout was a nightmare. I had informed thrice to the desk that I need a drop off. They said the drop off is chargable at Rs 500. I said ok. I asked for a receipt for the same. Ankit started saying without any context that you should have asked the rate before hand. I kept telling the imbecile that I do not have problem with the rate but with the fact that they are charging for a service and not giving bill for it, he kept saying that you should have asked for the rate before hand and that no hotel provides such a bill (which is a lie ofcourse). He then told me to go outside the hotel and get a taxi when I insisted for a bill. The hotel is otherwise ok. Food is so so. But the people are overall a very very rude set. I am staying in Mariott the next time. It's way better in terms of service.
