Reviewed By Honest_UllaWe visited Lavender Hill to attend a wedding. The views and the ambience is perfect. The standard suite with a view was affordable and gave us a good night's rest in a spacious room with beautiful decor and a stunning view. The chapel and wedding reception area was perfect for a dream wedding, although the bar service can be improved by providing more than one bartender for a thirsty crowd of 100+ people. Also, the sound system echoed in the chapel and made it difficult to hear what was said. Overall, great service and I will defintely recommend it to anyone.

Reviewed By Reisefreund15We only stayed for two nights, which was weigh to short ! There are so many things to do, both on the lodge and in the area. We rented one of the little houses. Everything was clean and cozy. All the staff members were caring and extremely friendly. We definitely will come back !!

Accepts no responsibility Situated in noicy mainroad and trucks and cars making noice. Support a local South African business.

Reviewed By lesegomorakileHi i was exposed to dogs and i am terrified of them, the dogs were let into the dining hall, the food area and there was no hair dryers and irons in the rooms, the bacon was rotten on our first breakfast.

Decent clean place to stop off half way on holiday
Reviewed By Lynne MWe last stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and were disappointed to find the restaurant service has dropped shockingly. It is as if they just don't care anymore - this was for dinner as well as breakfast. The bedroom was clean and comfortable though and we had a good night sleep.

Reviewed By jgrims185800I found this B & B by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the appointment, rooms, gardens, staff and wonderful breakfast. It was easy to find, the staff were very friendly , welcoming and accommodating and it was a pleasure to stay there. The only downside being a lone traveller, is that you have to go into town for dinner, to the few limited places available, or order take outs, no restaurant.

The Lodge is spotless, extremely comfortable, food is scrumptious and staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. We traveled by motorcycles from Nottingham Road Natal Midlands and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a memorable weekend.
