Duvets are available for chilly nights!A customized, fully tiled bathroom separates the two bedrooms. These bathrooms were designed to accommodate short or long term visitors, where you’ll find all the comforts of home, wherever that might be. Hot water is standard, of course.Upon entering the cabin via the private terrace facing the grounds, you will be delighted to see amenities galore; your comfort is important to us! A fully found kitchen awaits only your provisions should you choose to prepare your own meals to enjoy within, or on your terrace. Electric cook top, refrigerator, custom cabinets and ample counter space is sure to please , as are fully stocked cupboards containing dish ware, cutlery, and all of the necessary utensils you might have need of.

Reviewed By marybethk313We needed to overnight in Ceiba before flying to Puerto. Barbra and Rainbow Village came recommended to us but exceeded even the recommendations. She was worried that all 16 of us wouldn’t be comfortable but we were more than comfortable. She took our dinner orders before via what’s app to expedite things and everything we ate was great. The rooms were clean the internet was good, the showers hot, the pool cool. It’s so close to the airport and she took us and picked us up in multiple trips bc our flights were staggered so we didn’t have to hang out at the airport. When we had a layover on our return before vacationing in roatan we called to see if we could lunch and hang with her and she picked us up, fed us, let us lounge at her place for hours, use the pool, took us to the pharmacy, and back to the airport - I feel like we have family in La Ceiba. Everything was seamless and she didn’t charge us for anything but lunch and that was extremely cheap and very tasty! I highly recommend!

I was delighted to discover it is every bit as wonderful now as it was then: beautiful, well-tended grounds, gorgeous cabins, delicious food, and above all, a fabulous staff that go to great lengths to make your stay enjoyable. Don't miss the early bird-watching excursion--it costs extra but is totally worth it.

A paradise for nature lovers
Reviewed By Frank KIf you are in the La Ceiba area of Honduras or spending your vacation on the island of Roatán you should definitely visit Omega Jungle Lodge. It is a tropical paradise. Their property is an exotic botanical garden and it’s surrounded by a mountainous rainforest. If you love nature you’ll love Omega. We visited Omega for a day trip. We took the ferry from Roatán to La Ceiba in the morning and came back to Roatán in the late afternoon. We were planning on a walking tour but it was a rainy day so the Omega gave us a tour of the area in one of their vehicles. Udo, the owner, was our guide. He is an expert on local nature. We learned a lot. Udo and his wife, Silvia, are Germans who came to the rainforest over 20 years ago. Over that span of time they created this magnificent lodge and tour business. They offer rafting trips, horseback riding, and guided hikes. They also offer excellent meals. Their lodge is gorgeous. They showed us some of their rooms. They are stunning. You can look out the windows to see toucans and other colorful birds flying by. Unfortunately we did not plan to spend the night there. We wish we had.

No Running Water During Our Stay!
Reviewed By R3610EBmelaniecThis hotel was supposed to be one of the best in Ceiba. At 10:00pm the water in the whole building stopped working. They promised us water by 6:00am and it didn’t happen until after check out. What hotel doesn’t have a 24 hour maintenance worker who can check on the problem during the night? There wasn’t even water to flush the toilets, so the smell in the hotel by the morning was horrible. There was also NO refund issued. Also, the A/C in our room (we paid for a triple) didn’t work.

Reviewed By Alexa MI really loved my experiences at Villas Pico Bonito! Even though it was a work retreat, I was able to enjoy a lot! The views at the lodge are lovely and it also has a very peaceful environment. Loved watching so many hummingbirds by the bar & restaurant. The rooms are very clean, I had the opportunity to stay at 2 different cabins and both were very clean, comfortable, and pretty, both with river view. The infinity pool is everything, I loved it! I also found the food delicious! It was a really nice and peaceful experience.

La Ensenada Beach Villas & Resort is located at Bahia de Tela (Tela Bay) on the North Caribbean Coast of Honduras 90 km to the west of International Airport of San Pedro Sula. An excellent paved highway connects Tela to San Pedro Sula and further onto La Ceiba city which is a little over 100 km east. Bahia de Tela offers the most beautiful white sand beaches in Honduras, surrounded by lush tropical mountains and botanical gardens, natural reserves and wildlife refuges, as well as the cultural experience of the Garifuna Culture.
Very expensive and very good except for a glaring fault.
Reviewed By kennethgconeDespite the cost for a family of four at La Ensenada for a one night stay being greater than the governmentally mandated monthly minimum wage, porter service / help with luggage is not offered, or at least has not been, in numerous times that we have spent at La Ensenada. Other than that the service is good.

Reviewed By huthbotThe title says it all. Great rooms reasonably priced cleaned, with AC and hot water. Walking distances from the beach and town center. AMAZING view from the top floor patio. And possibly the best cheese burger in Honduras. Sorry for the terrible photo of grody dudes but the important part is the view.

Reviewed By Edward dOur group arrived at 1PM very hot and ready for a drink by the pool and the beach. We were told no admittance to the rooms or the resort until 3PM! This is a beach resort and it starts getting dark shortly after 5PM. Finally he said if we each paid $25 we could use the facilities. The resort is fine but the staff or the resort policies are terrible. Lots of garbage around the pool areas and loud music blasting during the day. We will never go back there.

Staff spoke English and made us feel at home We needed a place for 5 people and found this to be perfect. Walked to other places in the daytime Right across from the city plaza
