Mykonos Gem!

Reviewed By Ginny L

The Greek hospitality here is simply amazing. Welcomed in a style resemblant to the Ritz Carlton, you will find yourself relaxing from the moment you set foot here. Ladies and gentlemen attend to your requests with warmth and smiles that will make you sorry to leave. The standard of English is impressive, and the pool is a great place to cool off after being immersed in sun all day. The rooms are well appointed and gives an excellent view of Little Venice bathed in moonlight in the evenings. The room size is generous and I was happy with both the coffee machine and the kettle. One other thing I loved, is the Olive Bio products provided in the shower, it was divine.

Amazing Service

Reviewed By cindyaM6276RQ

From the moment we were picked up at the ferry we knew we would be well taken care of at the Mykonos Princess Hotel. We were greeted with water and a cold towel at reception, treated to a welcome drink at the pool side bar and given a detailed tour of the hotel. We stayed in one of the three bedroom "apartments" which was big for our family of four. Every member of the Hotel staff we met was friendly and eager to please. The location is a bit out of town but it was perfect for us to be away from the noise of the clubs at night. The hotel provides shuttle service for a fee. The highlight of our entire trip to the island was our dinner at the hotel restaurant. As expected, the service was top notch but we were greatly surprised but the quality of the food and the skill of the chef (which we were told is only 28). The dining experience at the Mykonos Princess Hotel was up there with any five star restaurant that I've been.

A fantastic birthday stay!

Reviewed By shadowoftheshard

The hotel was fantastic. From our arrival we were greeted with smiling faces and the great service continued throughout our stay. The hotel has beautiful interiors and our rooms was fabulous and spacious. The room even had a steamer in it. A must for travelling! The products in the room were also a great treat. The concierge is all done through WhatsApp. A great service. I could not recommend the hotel enough. I would just be wary of the cost of transfers and taxis and maybe think about renting a quad instead (which the hotel can assist with).

Beautiful hotel

Reviewed By Abnerchicago

The service from the moment we arrived was excellent. The manager greeted us with a glass of sparkling wine and great Greek hospitality. Steffie, at the front desk, couldn't have been any more helpful or courteous. She was able to arrange taxi service and restaurant reservations for us and she always did it with a smile and grace (pun intended). The hotel is directly across the street from a pretty nice beach. (Just be warned, you may have to bring your own umbrella if you want shade. There are not many chairs/umbrellas to rent at the beach and the hotel does not provide any.) The room was clean and just the right size with great views of the beach and Mykenos town (when the giant cruise ship isn't docked in the way.) The one drawback is the distance from town if you don't have your own transportation. It cost us 70 Euros round trip to go there. A bit much but the going taxi rate there. It was a shock for us so thought I'd warn everyone else. Overall, a fantastic place to stay!

Beautiful pool and private jacuzzi

Reviewed By ayc780

We were able to get a free upgrade as I still have gold status on hotels.com, so we had a private jacuzzi with a view of the pool and beach. The room was very clean and had free water in the fridge which was awesome since the location of the hotel is a little remote. To get to downtown Mykonos your best bet is to use the hotel car, which was 20 euros per trip. Pick up from the port was 15 euros, drop off at airport was 25 euros (with an external company as our flight was before their cars were available). We were offered welcome drinks (Moscato?) while we were waiting for our room. The reception staff were all super friendly. Although the location is far from downtown area, it's walking distance to a beach which was really nice. My only complaint is that their accounting is a little messy. If you order something at the restaurant, they don't ask you to sign the bill and add your room number, so there was a charge to my room which was not mine and took a bit of time to fix. The next morning when I was leaving, they told me there was another new charge to my room, which again was not mine. However they did not insist on me paying for it, which is why I didn't take any stars off as the situation was resolved quickly. I would recommend keeping track of your expenses and just go through the invoice in detail when checking out. OR... I think the hotel should just ask guests to sign their bills or be more diligent.

Gouged for water in Mykonos

Reviewed By diansa01

This hotel was part of an Air Canada Vacations hotel in our Cyclades Tour. The location of the hotel is near a bus stop and the beach. Although there were many of us on the Air Canada Vacations Tour, there was also a Gate 1 travel tour and in the restaurant for breakfast, they very obviously had number 1 priority. We were not greeted, acknowledged or served until we had requested it at least three times. Coffee was served finally after we were done breakfast. On day 2, after the Gate 1 departure, they slowly started laying out a cold buffet. Again, to get coffee and a hot breakfast it was a chore. The restaurant is understaffed for the amount of guests they were expecting. Another low note is that although the tap water is not drinkable, no water was offered in our room. We could obtain it from the restaurant for a modest 6€ or walk to a nearby market and get it for the regulated price of .5€. This is the first hotel I have ever been to that does not offer water to their guests and gouges them on the price. Very disappointing.

Amazing stay with exceptional service

We stayed at Mykonos Soul fo three nights to kickstart our honeymoon. We had booked a junior suite but when we arrived were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and the team gave us a bottle of prosecco and fruit platter to celebrate. From the moment we were picked up at the airport but Joanna, the whole team were incredible and so friendly. The room was wonderful with the most stunning sunset views and the all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The breakfasts in the morning are delicious and you can order as much as you would like. We ended up eating at Mykonos Soul for two nights too. We had an amazing stay and will certainly be recommending to our friends. We moved onto another hotel after but really missed the service we had here.
