It is in a great location. A few minutes from the bus station and a 5minute walk to la plaza. The staff was very kind and let me keep my bag at the hostel til my bus arrived that evening. The beds were okay, the roof top view was awesome and cleanliness was average. I would return again! Great place in a great location. And i booked through booking.com and they didnt have my resevation and put me in a room to myself.

Troncones Point Hostel is the first and only hostel in Troncones. This is a place where you can enjoy contact with nature, surrounded by mountains and the beautiful pacific Ocean. This is a place where you'll find all the luxury of a hotel with hostel prices. We are creating our home together with our guests. We are the community that everybody would like to bump into.Designed to coexist with nature, Troncones Point hostel has tropical landscaping and amazing vistas. It's has natural energy features that support the environment. We utilize a grey water system, and the latest technology in composting toilets. Despite the independence of Troncones, Manzanillo Bay rests only a few paces from the gates so you're never far from the azure Pacific. With a mere 100 feet separating you from the water, there's an endless array of surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, sea kayaking, snorkeling, body surfing, tide pooling and fishing to enjoy at your leisure.
Had a great time at Troncones Point Hostel. A welcoming place with kind people, clean, quiet, with a nice garden to relax in a hammock, beautiful beach in front and many surfing options closeby. Tom and Liz are great, I also signed up for the Surfari experience which was awesome :).

Hostel Casa Taxco is located at downtown Taxco, 50 meters from the majestic church of Santa Prisca. Has an outdoor terrace with panoramic view ideal for relaxing and enjoying the weather. In Hostel Casa Taxco we want you to feel at home. A new way to travel and meet new friends.
Worst experience ever in a hostel. I felt very unsafe during the whole night and I was able to sleep only for a few hours. The guy responsible at night smelled like alcohol very strongly. He knocked on my door several times at night saying that there was a call for me. After a while, I picked up the call and I was threatened by some Mexican guys. They said they would come for me. I had an awful night. Moreover there isn't any kind of atmosphere or vibe. We were only two guests at the hostel. Don't stay here!

Sol y Arena is an amazing oceanfront Hostel. This unique hostel (10,000 sqm) is a perfect place to relaxed in a cozy atmosphere, a paradise on a virgin beach. There is a lovely pool and beautiful gardens with hammocks to relax to the sound of the waves. The dorms are spacious, clean and have double and single beds. They are individually decorated and have en suite bathrooms.
A group of 8 of us in our mid twenties-early thirties spent a few night at Sol y Arena Beach Hostel. It is a really beautiful place, away from the noise and pollution of the center of Acapulco. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. When we stepped out of our rooms, the pool was directly in front of us and the beach just beyond that. I thought the ocean would be too rough to swim in as it often is on Mexico's Pacific coast, but we were able to get in the ocean as well as enjoy the pool. There was a kitchen, which allowed us to prepare breakfast and lunch there (though it could be slightly better equipped). The woman who hosted us was very accommodating. We felt at home. And there were three adorable little kids whose parents seem to tend to the grounds. There were also some cute doggies to play with. It was a low key place, not at all a party hostel, but nobody complained about our tequila drinking or music playing. Oh, and another bonus was that there was a woman who comes time to time to offer massages, manicures and pedicures.

This place is my go to hotel when I’m in Zihuatanejo. It’s a calm, lush, full of plants and trees gem, very close to the city. Easy to get everywhere from there, good cheap authentic restaurants very close. And Mali the owner is a truly awesome person. She will point you in the right direction for sure. Stongly recommend!

Excelente hotel & ademas excelente ubicación. Estuvimos en el hotel arcemar durante 3 noches y siempre fuimos bien recibidos, las camas limpias y los baños limpios, para mi esto muy importante además la zona muy céntrica.

Adrianita's Hostel features 5 private rooms, each with two double beds, ensuite bath and two fans. Air conditioning available on request. There is also a six-bed for men dorm and two three-bed mixed for women, plus a clean, bright, well-appointed communal kitchen. Adrianita's is close to services that travellers need every day.
it may look nice and clean online, this place is in the center of town, by Mercado, where businesses start rolling in their produce and products at 5 am, no place for a taxi to pull up so you can unload your stuff before a bus honks their horn with impatience. rooms may be airconditioned, but still won't absorb the noise of the bustling activity which may be just a wall away. very clinical insides with neglected outer features. yuck. I saw this and went to El Rincon for 20p more a nite, so much worth it!
