Players require a lot of skill and concentration to master this challenging 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
Enjoyed a Monday Open day at Royal Portrush with Open Sunday pin positions. Made to feel extremely welcome from the moment I drove in through the front gates. Staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Excellent pro shop with a fine selection of mementos of the day. Driving range and Trackman experience prior to teeing off were welcome opportunities to warm up. Definitely arrive 60-90 minutes early to make use of these facilities. The course itself is immaculate and more than lived up to its billing. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are out of this world and the rough, whilst penal, generally will allow you to find a ball hit offline. If you get the chance to play Royal Portrush Golf Club, definitely grab it with both hands!!

i played Portstewart golf course for the second time and reconfirmed my thoughts that it is truly the finest front 9 on the planet--the sand dunes, the elevation changes, the conditioning, the routing and diversity of the holes were truly world class--i've played over 50 of the top 100 in the world so my benchmark is fairly high--the Irish Open will be a huge success there in my view--plus the back 9 continues to evolve and improve--this course is a must for any true golfer--plus the people were wonderful--a real treat

Cushendall Golf Club is a Golf, Social & Community club based in the heart of the beautiful Glens of Antrim. Founded in 1937 and affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland in 1938. A major feature of this picturesque but challenging nine hole course, is the river Dall which creates out of bounds at seven of the nine holes as it meanders through the course to the legendary Sea of Moyle.

Beautiful bar and restaurant, opulent surroundings for a wonderful lunch. Pleasant service too. Delicious salmon dish on a bed of potatoes and my dining partner opted for fish and chips. We both had baked Alaska and coffee to finish.

This place is the best if you "must" golf in Ireland as part of your trip and aren't a pro. Friendly staff, reasonable rates, clubs to rent, par 3 fun course, and the most spectacular coastline views.
