I bought a beautiful ring in this store. I went in with a very clear idea of what I was looking for. I found a rose gold, simple, black opal ring which I am now absolutely in love with. The service was good, they really try to make your purchase something special and make a big deal about you as a customer. Can definitely recommend.

The views, Wine and the best Antipasto platter of local cheeses, olives etc which makes the visit to Two River Wines a MUST do if visiting the Upper Hunter area. The Owners and Staff will make this visit or stay worthwhile so friendly and extremelyhelpful. I congratulate them for all their hard work to make such a beautiful place. Definitely a favourite place of ours.

This is a delightful gallery filled with beautiful glass pieces of jewellery, dining ware, vases and so many more wonderful items. The artist is a lovely lady who is more than happy to share the glass-making process she uses to create her unique pieces. Definitely worth a visit!.

On a recent trip to Australia and New Zealand our tour director recommended that we go to Altmann and Cherny if we were interested in opal jewelry. This store is wonderful with a wide variety of jewelry of varying price and style. We selected a ring but wanted to compare at another recommended store, and received no pressure whatsoever about looking elsewhere. We knew right away that Altmann and Cherny offered a much better selection at comparable price. When we returned, after all the paperwork had been completed to purchase the piece, we were told that they would not sell us the piece as there was an undetectable flaw. They offered a refund, but then worked with us to find another comparable piece, which I absolutely love. We have never had an experience with a store of such wonderful repute and honesty, and immediately told our entire tour about this amazing event. Several went back to shop. We highly recommend Altmann and Cherny for their outstanding collection of jewelry, their service and honesty, and the amazing experience they provided.

Helm was recommended to us by a sommelier at a restaurant in Kingston as it was one of the few Canberra wineries that we hadn't visited and we have absolutely been missing out. Ken delivers amazing Riesling from every vineyard and shows what Cabernet Sauvignon can do here in Canberra. I absolutely recommend Helm to anyone visiting the Canberra wine region.

My husband and I along with our friends, traveled to Australia as part of my 60th birthday trip. The Volle team was very helpful in educating us on the types of opals and where they were from. Some of the best cheese I’ve ever tasted! Denise was amazing, knowledgeable about all aspects of cheesemaking and the yummy cheese made at Hunter Belle. The award- winning triple cream briebelle is absolutely fantastic and definitely a true favourite. The platters and meals available at the cafe are fantastic and is a great lunch in between wineries! Coming to Hunter Belle’s Cheese Room is an absolute must for any cheese lover in the the Hunter, such a great cheese tasting and and an amazing meal... Go and enjoy!
