So we don't leave you alone to cope with babies or toddlers, or to try and teach your children . We help you every step of the way. We have lively parties with dancing and painting, for children and adults alike !! We are very proud of our 20 years of doing baby footprints in Brighton and the fact that many of our customers return again and again. We have paint pots because we love people, we want to teach them how to paint, and we want them to leave feeling happy.

Had an amazing afternoon for our friends birthday! Vicky was very helpful and informative, she made sure we knew everything about different pottery painting techniques to make sure each one of us would be happy with their result! Such an affordable activity for hours of fun, came home the week after with a beautiful vase I was very proud of! Thank you again, we will be back!

The hand delivered lockdown gift bags are a great idea. The shop, when it can open, is a treasure trove of well made items, with a range of prices. The glass fusion workshop I attended last year was excellent; well run, and my daughter and I were both very pleased with the items we made. Friendly service too. Highly recommended.

Gus is a super friendly and welcoming guy, and his shop is a gem!! I'm lucky enough to live locally, so pop in regularly to browse his discounted 1st class stamps (..cheaper than the Post Office)! Even if you're just in Brighton for the day, make sure to swing by! He has stamps relating to all interests (from Bowie to Ancient Greece) and for all occasions.

I love coming to YAK. I do most of my yarn shopping online, especially the higher end/indie yarn that just isn't sold in most shops. The only yarn shops that I have local to me are Hobbycraft and C&H Fabrics, which are okay, but YAK is what I wish all yarn shops were like. Unique, interesting, selling a range of items for knitting and crochet - including Chiagoo and HiyaHiya needles and notions. It's nice to come somewhere to be able to squish the yarn and see it in person rather than through the computer screen. The lady that served me was very lovely and knowledgeable as well. I come to YAK every time I come to Brighton because it's just brilliant.

I’m from the US and have been a mail order customer for a year. I was thrilled to be able to stop in the shop when visiting Brighton. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy much as I have very limited space in my luggage. However, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. If you get have a chance definitely stop by. They seriously have the best tea.
