Melaina's Magical Playland

Reviewed By Butterflydays - Cape Girardeau, United States

This is a beautifully designed handicapped-friendly playland for children. It was designed in honor of Melaina. You will see a statue on your left as you enter the gated play area. We are so very blessed to have this type of facility in our county park. Bring the children and have fun!

Veterans Memorial Park

Reviewed By 640amyr - Saint Louis, United States

Veterans Memorial Park has 3 different playgrounds and 1 Splash park all in 1 location. You can park at one of parking lots located at each playground or you can walk along one of the sidewalks that connects the playgrounds. Restrooms are located near each playground, including some family restrooms. My kids loved the unique equipment like zip lines, a surfboard, large multi-person sitting merry go rounds, and many climbing structures. The Splash Park has tall buckets that fill and dump on you as you pass by. Your kids will also enjoy the fountains and circular waterfall along with the flower sprinklers. If you enjoy fishing, there is also a small fishing pond. Go for a walk along the paved path. There is something for everyone at this park!
