10 Fun Activities & Games in Bloomsbury That You Shouldn't Miss

April 6, 2022 Agatha Simes

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

THATMuse,Treasure Hunt at the Museum

Let's have a silly interactive competitive time in London's Museums! THATMuse, which stands for Treasure Hunt at the Museum, has 5 themes btwn the British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museums in London (in Paris we're au Louvre, Musee d'Orsay & the Streets of Paris). Our hunts give you an overview, whilst keeping you focused & injecting adrenaline in your museum visit. Both educational & invigorating, our goal is to make you want to see more of the museums afterwards! Good for family travel (a father and mother splitting with a kid per team), office team-building, hen/stag/birthday parties and study abroad school orientations, we can host hunts from 3 people to 200!

This was a team building afternoon, really well organised by Daisy and the THATMuse Team with detailed instructions and a great team talk to start us off. A really unique way to work together in teams as well as a great way to see the museum with fun challenges thrown in. Most of us spent the afternoon laughing as well as having some great photos to look back on and of courses prizes at the end. Thoroughly recommend this activity at a very reasonable price.

Up to 6 players can log in from anywhere in the world solve the puzzles and try and help a kidnapped Agent escape! It's a 60 minute mission and fab! Agent November missions are spy themed - there are also three real world missions : A murder mystery (Murder Mr E) a device defusion (Major X. Ploe Shun) and a Robbery investigation (Robyn Yew). The stories are great as are the puzzles, perfect for teams of friends, family or work colleagues. You have 60 minutes to find clues, solve puzzles and use gadgets to save the day! You are assisted by a mysterious undercover agent. Of the real-world missions 2 are played mostly or entirely outdoors, one is held solely indoors. Lateral thinking is vital, as well as working as a team. There are lots of twists, turns and humour in the missions , making them great fun and a real challenge. Ideal for parties, special events and team building.

My friends and I played over a zoom call, and the problem solving and lateral thinking have been perfectly adapted to the current lockdown situation. It gave us an incredibly fun hour or so of puzzles and interaction with a brilliant actor who was witty, quick and very engaged with all of us. We had the best time and would not hesitate to do another version and recommend this to anyone looking for something fun and different to do during this time. Thank you so much.
