The River Stort

Reviewed By therichastill - Stevenage, United Kingdom

The River Stort flows from the River Lea near Rye House to Bishop's Stortford. Along the way it passes through Roydon, Harlow and Sawbridgeworth so you are never too far from civilisation if you need it. The towpath is well maintained so it is easy for walking or cycling. Even though much of the river runs near the railway it is easy to switch off and enjoy the nature around you.

The Herald Pub

Reviewed By H7723ECsueb

This pub is an absolutely Brilliant place both as a local, a music venue and a private venue. The service I received when I hired it for my 60th was outstanding. Garry went above and beyond in making sure my special occasion went without a hitch. Having used it for some years as a music venue I recommend the Herald, its staff and the highest quality of customer service possible. Thank you so much for 1 of the best nights of my life
