During school holidays I have visited Fradley Junction on several occasions as it had such a lovely atmosphere and at the point where the Trent and Mersey joins to Coventry canal. Parking is just £1.50 for the day and we have mixed it between taking a picnic and also eating at the caravan site tearoom as the food there is highly recommended and staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Excellent display and a lovely walk besides. Got it's own car park (free) which makes a change from lots of others I could name. Take some bread for the legions of geese and ducks below the gardens. Walk to the footbridge, gifted by Baron Burton, which leads into the city centre. Be sure to turn around and view the gardens from the middle of the river. Magnificent.
