Ivan Guaderrama Art Gallery

This was such an unexpected delight! From the minute i walked in the door, there was a personal greeting, invitation to view the interactive artwork and download a free APP to enjoy the gallery on my own or with their docents! The artwork literally comes alive thru the APP, when you touch it. There is a piano piece that you PLAY! Another piece where you and another person can each touch the side and then hold hands. You play music with your fingers on your partner's hand!

Stopped in during the Thursday art walk and whilst exploring the truly lovely and interesting art and grounds, we found ourselves having a great chat with Frank and his wife. There are a few sculptures i have my eye on and I am very keen to return for Christmas holidays!

Mt. Solmar

Hubby, friend and I decided to try the climb on our own only to discover a wonderful person named, Enrique. Enrique took our group up the mountain but unfortunately my husband and I got separated from the group and was solo. Enrique did discover us as we made our way down. My recommendations are to wear good footwear, hat, sunscreen and bring water or an electrolyte type drink. Enrique offers this climb every morning at 9:30. He doesn't charge for being your guide, and tips are optional. TIP the Man! He was my savior that day and saved my a**. He is also a dog trainer and the tips help out with food expenses, etc. LOVE You Enrique ! You are the man!

Was lucky to get there with Selkie Travels- after exiting snorkelling with Sea lions we got to this beach for lunch - it was the most breathtaking beach I have seen- sand is white and water is so super blue- it was worth every penny - make sure you save a day for this trip as it is not close from La Paz and all depends on weather as well — so book it and enjoy the raw beauty of Baja

This surfside avenue is Loreto's center for peoplewatching, by day and night.

I would visit this place any time. Much better than La Paz!! Very clean and touristy with so much history. Nice people and very relaxing quiet city on an isolated type of beach. The city is a great place to visit with some beautiful churches and missions with so much Mexican culture here. We could not believe how well the city was kept up and taken care of for some many years. Really cool place to visit.

Bay of Cabo San Lucas

Sheltered harbor great for fishing.

Reviewed By RichardS778 - Scottsdale, United States

My wife and I have been to Los Cabos and the bay area many times on land and on cruise trips. On our last cruise on Princess the ship will shuttle you into the very pretty small harbor and from there you can strike out to so many points of interest like beaches, just a short water taxi ride or cab ride away, there is good fishing depending on the season, whale watching, snorkling, hotels, all inclusive resorts and this is a destination wedding location for many. With rere exception it is safe but always remember you are in Mexico and be smart. During the day it is 100% safe in my opinion. There is the usual tourist shopping...many places to eat and have drinks and so on. Hills surround the bay and it is just beautiful. Safe swimming in the bay but not on the Pacific side. Many tours are available. Folks there are friendly.

Malecon

Beachside shopping street, providing you with spectacular views of the palm tree - lined beach as you browse through shops and restaurants.

Reviewed By ChicagoColorado - Longmont, United States

I love La Paz's Malecon. When you walk along the Malecon, you are absorbed into Mexico, surrounded by local families taking walks, groups of friends chatting, joggers running after (or before) work, young folks skating along on roller skates or boards.. The Malecon is broad enough to accommodate these various activities The Malecon is actually a stone tile walkway, several miles in length, along the city's waterfront. On one side, the Ensenada de la La Paz, sprinkled with small boats, pelicans, herons, terns, gulls. On the other side, a variety of eateries. I find this area so relaxing. A place to be a tourist without feeling like one.

Playa del Amor

Pretty beach ideal for swimming, sunning and snorkeling.

Took a nice hike over from Lands End on a recent Saturday morning. It was a busy place with a few vendors and lots of water taxis coming and going. Beautiful place if you want to spend some time in the water!!! Nice to actually be on Lovers Beach rather than just looking at it from one of the boat rides!
