With Covid the winery is doing reservations only. The Cellar Door was on our "must do" list for our 24 hour visit to Camden, and thanks to Carolyn at Captain Swift Inn, she got is an afternoon reservation. We sat outside on rocking chairs overlooking the grounds and vineyard (photo) and enjoyed a flight of wine each and charcuterie plate. Then picked our favorite, and bought a bottle and sat and enjoyed that as well. . It was a beautiful day, very relaxed visit, and the wine was spectacular. Definitely one of the highlights of our Camden trip!

We really enjoyed our visit here. Amy was a great hostess. We tasted both wine and beer from Maine. The blueberry wines were interesting; much better than we expected! The beer was great! We bought some to take home!

You might have seen our farm-stand at the farmer’s market, or maybe you’ve heard about our food hub. It’s growing often with people receiving delicious produce fresh from our farm. Savage Oakes Vineyard and Winery

Come experience our working Maine farm winery continuing an over 200 year old family farming tradition. We make our wines from the grapes grown in our vineyard as well from Maine wild blueberries grown in our fields. While you are here enjoy the views as you explore the grounds. Have your lunch in the vineyard, you might be lucky enough to see our resident hawk soaring overhead looking for a tasty treat.

This was my husband and I's first time attending this winery and had a great time! The staff were friendly and especially loved their slashes! They had strawberry and blueberry which were both delicious and you could purchase the mix and wine as well. They had small cheese plates to purchase from Appleton Farms (I had the garlic and herb which was delish). There was also cornhole by the tables and plenty of space to social distance without being on top of people.

Boothbay Craft Brewery

Boothbay Craft Brewery was our first stop on our weekend getaway. We stayed for two beers and got a pizza after planning to only stay for one beer. The beer was delicious and we even bought beers to bring home with us. Everyone there was getting pizza, so we had to try one and were very pleased. The outdoor space was so well thought out and welcoming, plenty of seating (mostly shaded) and games. A gem!

The pizza is awesome! Great crust, and toppings. The caesar salad was outstanding with house made croutons and just the right amount of dressing. Beer choices were plentiful and varied. It's certainly worth the drive. These people take pride in their craft!

Beth's Farm Market

Reviewed By quilterlady83 - Ocala, United States

Beth’s Market is full of fresh vegetables, incredible baked goods, and more! I really can’t say enough good things Re: what food is sold there! I gravitated to the Strawberry Shortcake which was sized large enough for 2! I had never seen carrots that aren’t orange but I did at Beth’s! This market is ready for Fall as there’s a huge pile of pumpkins to choose one from, to buy. Along the way to this store, we saw the real pumpkin patch! We ate our desserts outside on picnic tables next to vintage cedar trees! There’s a sweet playground that had large truck tires for kids to climb on, tractor seats for chairs & swings with rope, similar to what were made prior to commercial swing sets. All in all, Beth’s is a “must stop” for the whole family when near Warren, Maine or heading to the coast!
