Wahkiakum County Ferry

Decided to turn off the highway at the road sign for the ferry. Best decision I've made in a long time! The short ride across the Columbia is simply one of the best experiences you can have. Crew members are a joy to meet with. Views are stunning as the ferry crosses the river. No credit or debit cards for payment and ferry departs at the scheduled time. Its worth arriving early just to take in the sights and sounds and look for Big Foot. Also great to look out for Oscar the Frog onboard the ferry.

Washington State Ferries

This is an excellent (and cheap!) way to get out on the water in Seattle, as well as fantastic views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound, the trip gives you the opportunity to explore the shops and streets on the island. The ferry itself is huge and very clean. As a walk on passenger, I only had to pay on the Seattle side.

Our whole family, husband, daughter and three grandchildren, walked on towing our small suitcases for a two night stay in Victoria. The Ferry was comfortable and loading and unloading was fast and efficient. We disembarked a block from our hotel.

Lady of the Lake

Reviewed By kbraden64 - Portland, United States

The Lady of Lake boat just runs Sundays and Fridays right now due to pandemic and Holden Village being under quarantine but the express boat runs daily. We took the Sunday more leisurely four hour Lady of Lake run to Stehekin and then hiked back along shore several days and got picked up on a Tuesday at Prince Creek by the express boat back to Chelan. It was just a gorgeous trip! Boat crew were very nice people.
