My business travel brought me from the East Coast, but I had all the comforts of home. The gym was great too! Would appreciate clearer information on charges upfront
Reviewed By peggykJ2981HMMy husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel - Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The room charge was different each day with no explanation why. Much was made of the $10/day discount on food purchases and the "free WIFI" (mentioned FOUR times on their home page). Then when the final bill was presented, there was a $25/day "amenities fee". When I asked what that was for, the desk clerk flipped me a little car that detailed what it paid for - including the $10 "Discount" and the "free WIFI" and unlimited coffee pods. So we paid to get a "discount" and we paid for the "free wifi" and we paid for the unlimited coffee pods which we did not use. That's rather shabby, adding on a fee that wasn't disclosed in the original reservation. The other questionable thing which I noted directly to management was that we were on the 4th floor - in case of fire we were recommended to put a wet towel over the door jamb and open the window and wait for rescue. OK - except that the window would not open! Since our room was located in between the 2 stairwells, this concerned us. Other than that, the room was OK. It was clean. The bed was lumpy. One of the TV channels did not work. It was close to the Opera House, which is why we chose it. We ate one dinner (burgers) downstairs in the lounge and it was very good. There was only one waiter who was also tending bar - he said they were not short-staffed, that was the way they did it on Sunday nights. It wasn't very busy, so I guess that makes economic sense for them. Overall, I think the best thing about this hotel is the art installations and lobby furniture.

There were also great restaurants within walking distance. Everything was clean and the room smelled and looked amazing. We got massages and facials at the spa and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We ate at Tidal + and had breakfast at the downstairs restaurant. The seafood was delicious, the drinks were delicious, the breakfast had a lot of great options to choose from, and all staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Reviewed By Terilyn RI have now stayed at this hotel twice the night before a flight home. I love everything about it. The setting is totally unexpected considering you are mere minutes from SEATAC and it's infamous hotel row in International Blvd. The hotel seems like it is a mountain park far from the crowd. The outside offerings are relaxing and pretty and the rooms and food are... simply great!

Reviewed By Flyer216379I booked it on line and shortly afterward got a message of any special needs. I was arriving early off a cruise and leaving late the following day by plane. When o got there, the arrangements i asked for were there with no fuss or fanfare, just a matter of fact. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. There are several things like the market that are within walking distance. The Hop on Hop off tour bus has a stop at their front door and that was very convenient. It as an interesting way to see down town Seattle and a ride around the area that was narrated. Eric the concierge was fantastic. He was there to show us where to go and what to do the basically two days were were in Seattle. He not only gave us a map and pointed out features around the hotel within walking distance, he went outside and pointed out places to eat and do. The following day, he helped us with our stored luggage and assisted us with a lost uber ride. We had already checked out hours before and he went beyond the call of duty to aid us. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect near the rail making for easy access to go to downtown Seattle. The staff went over and above to make our stay nice. The free hotel shuttle was great! Would definitely recommend.

Seattle Center, Climate Pledge Arena, the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass a three minute monorail ride away. The Queen Anne-style rooms have free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, desks, coffeemakers and extra-deep soaking tubs; some have wet bars. Suites add extra living areas. In addition to meeting rooms and event space, amenities include Oliver's Lounge, famous for classic cocktails and Andaluca Restaurant, a breakfast hot spot. The hotel includes a fitness center and valet parking (surcharge).

Reviewed By uscfan1325I stayed here 3 nights with with my 16 yo granddaughter, her friend, and my 71 yo friend. We had a deluxe Queen suite plus a rollaway. The suite had two bathrooms, which was unusual but very helpful! There was a door to close between the bedroom and the living area and the girls said they did not hear us talking or hear the tv. There was no maid service unless requested which was fine with us. There was a single serving coffee maker and Starbucks Verona Dark Roast coffee. The valets at The Mayflower were so helpful and such nice young men. Kevin was originally from Seattle so he was my go to if I had a question. Seth and Mason were also very personable and always greeted us with a welcoming smile ?. My granddaughter loved the location because of its proximity to shopping. I have back issues and can’t walked very far but I was able to walk without any trouble to Westlake Center and Pacific Place. We could see a Bartell’s from the front of the hotel and we went there for snacks and toiletries. Another perk was the monorail entrance was very close, which allowed us to get to the space needle without having to call an Uber. If I go back to Seattle, I am staying at The Mayflower Park, without a doubt!

Reviewed By twotravelers202020We had read all the reviews, and were so excited to check out this new Lotte Hotel in Seattle, but were left super disappointment by our experience and wish we had spent our money elsewhere. Shout out to the staff in the Restaurant, Charlotte who were phenomenal! This was an expensive stay, with mediocre service that does not match the pricing. There were multiple service lapses we experienced, and non-existent service recovery which will be hard for us to recommend to anyone. Room rates are steep, the pet fee is $100, a simple breakfast for two was $200+, drinks are around $18+ PREARRIVAL: We had reached out to the hotel less than 48 hours prior to arrival, to let them know were were excited to visit this new hotel and that we were celebrating our Honeymoon. We reminded them that we will be arriving with a small dog and asked if it’s possible to prioritize our room for an early arrival. The hotel acknowledged and said they would make a note of our requests. ARRIVAL / CHECK IN: The hotel entrance is pretty nondescript, and not a lot of curb appeal. There were no doormen around at the time we arrived, but one did come out. While they were friendly, their interactions were extremely casual. We then made it up to the check-in floor, and waited… and waited… while the check-in agent typed out a novel it seemed like. Not sure what she was working on, but it was a good 5 minutes she spent typing while we were waiting for her. It was an extremely odd arrival experience. There wasn’t much of a “welcome to the Lotte, I’ll be a few minutes” or “let me call a colleague to assist” it was just a “I’ll be right with you”. Once she had finished typing up whatever she was working on, There was no apology for the delay and just proceeded with the formalities of checkin. Again, the whole experience was extremely casual and not what a 4 or 5 star typical hotel checkin is. The front desk asked us what brought us to Seattle, and then noticed our dog and asked if we wanted any pet amenities. Since we had reached out the day prior and let them know we were travelling to the hotel for our honeymoon, and with our dog - wouldn’t these notes have been added? Clearly this was forgotten, which again - not the 4 or 5 start typical experience as these fine details are what make a great hotel experience. There was no explanation about the hotel or facilities. No mention about the restaurant. Room service etc. For example, we only discovered the spa on the way to finding the gym. We would have booked an appointment if the check in agent had mentioned the gym or spa to us upon checkin. In addition, the agent explained our room was not ready but housekeeping was conducting the “finishing touches” and it shouldn’t be long and offered us to wait in the lobby bar off to the side. We waited… and waited… and waited again. We waited about 30 minutes before we went back to ask her how much longer it would be as to us, “finishing touches” means likely 10 or so minutes. She explained it shouldn’t be too much longer…. We ended up waiting 45 minutes, and only being able to check into our room 30 minutes AFTER the official time. It seems there was no effort to prioritize our room, and clearly the notes were not added to our file. We were totally happy to wait, but wish we were told a realistic time to be able to check into our room so we could have planed our day a bit better instead of waiting 45 minutes in the lobby, until after the official check in time. While we were waiting to the side of the lobby by the restaurant, one of the servers came over, and was so attentive and kind - offering us a complimentary drink and bowl of water for our dog. I wish we got his name, but he was so kind and helpful. ROOM: The room was gorgeous, and we loved the design. There was a bottle of sparkling wine they had sent up to our room which was really appreciated! The strangest thing was the dog “amenity” they had left - a dog bed, which our dog loved but they also left a diaper… for babies. Very odd! The beds were extremely comfortable, and great quality sheets. We booked a junior suite, but on our fault of our own - there was no tub so we asked if we could switch the following day. The following day, we switched to our new room. Room #2, had an incredible view and tub! Total heaven! Unfortunately, housekeeping was as meticulous as the previous room and there was toilet paper behind the tub. Yuck. Both phones in the room did not work, and maintenance were unable to resolve the issue. Not a big deal, but we were just trying to change a dining reservation. That afternoon, we had a room attendant just walk into our room unannounced. The attendant did not knock, ring or announce themselves - just walked right in and apologized immediately. They dropped off another bottle of sparkling wine. Really appreciated, but likely there was a mistake and it wasn’t meant for us again, and also extremely concerning that the attendant just walked right into the room unannounced. CHECK OUT: Check out was pretty simple, we were spending the rest of our Honeymoon at a different property, and the Lotte were able to accommodate a slightly later checkout which was much appreciated. NON EXISTENT SERVICE RECOVERY: Here’s were things have left a bit of a sour taste for us. We followed up by sending an email to the hotel to explain the shortfalls we had experienced, and disappointment as we had specifically booked the hotel thinking we would truly have an incredible stay for our honeymoon. We emailed the same email address that goes directly to the front desk which went unanswered. We then called and asked for the GM, Victor’s email address. The GM finally replied back with a pretty generic response apologizing for the shortcomings and would like to schedule a time to chat on the phone. Unfortunately, that was the last we heard from the GM, as he never called us back… It’s been over a week since and still no callback or email. Service recovery says everything about a property or business and can turn a poor experience into a memorable and incredible one. It seems the Lotte Seattle either doesn’t value it’s guests, or simply doesn’t care. CONCLUSION: This property seems extremely short staffed but charging full rates, and while we understand these are challenging times, a guest should never notice or feel that pinch especially at such a reputable and high end hotel. We work in the travel industry, and we simply can not justify sending our guests to this property. Especially if notes or special attention is not going to be paid to our VIPs. There are some great properties in Seattle that are staffed well during these challenges times at a much more affordable cost. We changed to a different hotel, with the same star rating and it was a total 360 experience. From the strange baby diaper dog amenity, poor customer service, no reply to our email and zero followup from the GM. We will give this property a miss on our next stay.

We are ideally located for business or pleasure in the vibrant Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. The Space Needle, Key Arena and downtown Seattle are just moments away and for our coffee lovers we feature a Starbucks(R) Cafe off the lobby. The hotel is beautifully appointed with the look of the Mediterranean that embraces you with a comfortable and relaxed feeling. Each guest room features a kitchenette and the entire hotel is 100% non-smoking.

Reviewed By Sunshine622105Overall The Mediterranean Inn was nice for our group. Great location. Easy to walk to wonderful restaurants and all of the sites of Seattle. Rooms were clean and lobby was nice. Nice to have a Starbucks attached to the lobby. The downside is the size of the rooms. Extremely small for 2 full size beds. Second bed is pushed against wall, so have to climb out at the foot of bed to get out.

Skip the continental breakfast, the selection is VERY limited and bland. Wait to get food at the airport, if you are flying out in the morning. The hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle service is a plus.
