Reviewed By Robert SA historic hotel from the mid 1800's, wonderful hospitality and delicious food. All surrounded by innumerous waterfalls, breathtaking views and panoramic trekking trails. A small, built, waterfall at the hotel is the "cherry on the cake" after a long day's trekking.

A historical farm built in the 1840s. The owners are the seventh generation living on the farm. Since 1982 they have received paying guests for home-stay vacations offering a riding experience in this coffee-producing region to neighboring coffee plantations. Ten apartments with period furniture are available. Guided bird-watching tours are also organized.
Wonderful family trip many years ago
Reviewed By RKEHANearly 10 years ago my family visited Fazenda Nova several times while living in Brazil and it was a wonderful experience that we still talk about. The accommodations are charming, the attention to the girls while horseback riding was spectacular, and the owners were wonderful. Not sure if we will get to go again, but either way we will always remember Fazenda Nova.
