Garden oasis in the mountains
Reviewed By Klara BLovely small place located next to a church from 1200 at the edge of the village. There is a beautiful garden to relax in, and a very friendly cat to cuddle. We arrived after a long hike in Campo Imperatore, and when we expressed the desire for a drink, we were served a beer at the table outside. The owners are very kind and it's truly an oasis of relaxation. (And the restaurant next door was incredible value for money.) We asked for two single beds, which were very narrow indeed. Not really a problem, just uncommon for me, as I'm used to 90-100 cm for singles.

Come to my farmhouse you can have here nice time and really good food that comes from my vegetable garden specially in summer time.We are in the countryside on the hill near the beach (12 km) and the mountains Maiella and Gran Sasso.

Castelnuovo Vomano, which is less than 10 km from Roseto degli ABruzzi of the A14 motorway, the Holiday Villa Irelli found. We are in the Abruzzo region, province of Teramo. The ‘old farmhouse is owned by the family since 1820. The structure is part of a farm of about 100 hectares of land with fruit, vegetable and address the prevailing breeding cattle that allows the availability of a wide range of top quality raw materials for traditional and authentic cuisine inspired by the classic tradition of Abruzzo , especially Teramo. The Farm House is located at the center of Vomano valley a few kilometers from the beaches of the Adriatic Sea and at the foot of the mountain complex of Gran Sasso of Italy and the famous National Park.

Reviewed By pja47We stayed here for two nights and loved it. Our only suggestion is that they should serve drinks in the lounge so that it would be possible to enjoy an aperitif before dinner. The food was really excellent, superb pasta dishes and wonderful grilled meat. Very generous with the wine, and very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you to Williams, our server for dinner on both evenings, he really added to our enjoyment.

Original barrel- house located in the peaceful and calm countryside. Two wooden-barrel a are avaliable. If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city you must visit us in the Abruzzo Region. We are situated in a strategic position. It takes only 10 minutes to reach the Adriatic Sea and less than 20 minutes to reach the mountain. In our property there is a spendid lake, where you can go fishing or simply take a walk. You can also harvest early fruit and vegetables from our organic vegetable garden.
Amazing place and amazing people: the True Italian hospitality
Reviewed By Ramazotti2014With our Two kids 4 and 6 Years, we did really enjoyed two weeks stay in la Compagna d'Abruzzo. The vineyard fields, the olives, all the Italian summer fruits and the Silence of Nature makes you forget all your daily stress and reset your life and soul.We normally had to share the apartment with other people, but we were lucky to be the only guests during those two weeks. Having your car with you is a must in order to be able to access to the beach in Villa Rosa (15 minutes amazing drive), restaurants, shopping areas. Some small villages with great view are also very close like Colonnella. The apartment facilities are all what you need for your holiday: simple, clean spacious and if you need anything just ask: Gaia, Sveva and the mother are very kind people and make you feel at home. Gaia the smiling face, is amazing and very flexible and always willing to help. I would like really to thank her for all what she did for us and we promise to see you again. I am not going to write more, I will just let you discover the place by your own. Very recommended for family with kids Best regards from Switzerland Ramzi and Family

We have been here a couple of times and we have the feeling that we are part of the BIG family. IF you want 5***** service and high life dont come hier. But if you want a quiet Holiday with no speciale service but clean and tidy with Family conection then I can recommend this farm. I would Like to thank Granddad(China) Daniela,Tonino,Frederica & Dante for a very nice stay we will come back again & again & again. Special regards to Tom & Jerry Jan & Peter Ps. Dante music is something you must hear & Daniela kitchen is somthing you must try . PPs. Don't forget this is a Holiday on a Farm with Cows & Pigs

Reviewed By LLAKWe stayed at La Casetta, a 2 bedroom, stand alone apartment as a family of 3. The apartment is very neat, extremely clean, well furnished and the kitchen is very well stocked. The garden is lovely with some kids’ climbing frames, tables and sun loungers. Just missing a swimming pool! There is a washing machine on site and a delicious fresh bread van comes daily as well as a cheese van once a week. The owners are very responsive and kind but also discreet. We would definitely come back here- a very comfortable and homely place to stay.

One kilometer away from the highway and three kilometers from Pineto , tourist town overlooking the Adriatic coast , lies the farm Col Morino , who is named after the hill on which it is located . Farmhouse of the early ' 900 , extensively renovated and enriched with period furnishings . And ' surrounded by 10 acres of land , which are domestic food products of own production, so as to ensure the quality and taste of the past . The farm has seven rooms : 4 doubles 3 quadruple cozy, comfortable and meticulous in detail , with its services within them . The business is run by the owners , mindful of a traditional and natural , in search of ancient flavors Teramo .
Peaceful and well-maintianed
Reviewed By Laufam_travellersThis was our first stay in an agriturismo, and it was quite a pleasant experience. The place is well-kept, and you can tell that a lot of work and a lot of love has gone into the renovations and the details of decoration. We had a room on the first floor, with views across the hills and farmland to the mountains in the distance. Our room was a double room with an extra bed put into it for our son. This made it slightly on the small side, but was still manageable. The room had a large wardrobe with plenty of storage space, and a desk with a chair, and a very nice en-suite bathroom. I think all the guestrooms are on the first floor, up an outdoors staircase - something to consider for those with mobility issues. Breakfast is of the sweet Italian variety, with generous servings of homemade cakes and pies, together with juice, tea or coffee. It is served in the restaurant, which was unfortunately closed for the season when we were there. It is a very nice space, and we would have liked to eat there - perhaps another time! In the summer it is also possible to sit outside under the vines in the pergola. Abruzzo is a region that doesn't get as many foreign tourists as other parts of Italy, and it is a great place to practice your Italian, as foreign language skills are not always prominent, but here we got by fine between the host's bit of English and my bit of Italian (and the host even helped teach me a little!) The agriturismo is a few kilometers outside the seaside town of Pineto, and it is recommended to have a car to stay here. With a car, you can reach lots of interesting and beautiful places conveniently, though, both seaside and up into the mountains. The hilltop town of Atri is only a handful of kilometers away, and a lovely place to visit - we liked it enough to visit in the morning, and then go back again for dinner in the evening. Overall, we quite enjoyed our brief stay of two nights, the friendly welcome we received, and the beautiful area, and we hope to come back again for another visit.
