We will pick you up and show you that between two of Wales largest cities lies a strip of the Welsh coast that is both beautiful and refreshingly unspoilt. Sitting next to the ocean, this impressive stretch of coastline encompasses wildlife rich river estuaries, sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, rock pools and sweeping ocean views. This 6.5 mile walk along coastal paths starts near the pretty village of Ogmore-by-sea. We will then proceed parallel to the sea along sandy beaches and clifftop paths with sweeping views across the sea to the English coast, a dream for photographers and lovers of ocean views. You will then stop for a rest at the picturesque Dunraven Bay, a beautiful cove of sand and shale with numerous rock pools where you can enjoy some delicious Welsh snacks and even paddle in the sea. **Some nationalities may refer to this activity as a hike rather than walk**.

There are undoubtedly few rivers in the UK that come anywhere near to the beauty of the River Wye. The fifth longest river in the UK rises in the remote uplands of Mid Wales and flows through often mind-blowing scenery to the Severn Estuary. Let me pick you up and transport you to this tranquil and iconic valley. This relatively easy 3.5 mile walk passes through ancient woodland and along the banks of the majestic and serene river. You will enter the almost 900 year old Tintern Abbey, one of the most impressive ancient monuments in Wales, attracting visitors from all over the world. The walk passes through the picturesque village of Tintern where you will have the opportunity to rest on the banks of the river and watch its beauty pass by, whilst enjoying some tasty Welsh snacks.

My husband and I had a fantastic day with John through Snowdonia and Conwy Valley. We saw and learnt more in one day than we did in 2 weeks driving ourselves - and without the stress! John was quick to adapt the tour to our interests and was interesting with a good sense of humour. He showed us some special locations that you miss on your own without immense research and time and we got our best photos in one day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John, and in particular the value of a private tour.

Let us pick you up and take you to this place of immense beauty. This 5.5 mile walk along uneven paths takes you along riverside scenery, with steep sided wooded valleys and four breath-taking waterfalls. In a National Park renowned for its sweeping, barren, mountain scenery, high peak lovers are in danger of missing out on this hidden gem. This pocket of dramatic limestone scenery where 4 stunning waterfalls are within a relatively short walk of each other is a truly unique location like no other in the UK. The highlight of the area is Sgwd yr Eira, where you'll venture right behind the gushing torrent of water, a truly unique and memorable experience that you won't forget. **Some nationalities may refer to this activity as a hike rather than walk**.

Because of terrible weather and the recent Coronavirus outbreak I couldn’t go on my South Wales Coast Walk after doing the Pen-y-Fan walk the day before. Even though I was disappointed I wouldn’t be able to explore the beautiful coast, my Guide was very negotiable and gave me a full refund. He was a very nice guy and I highly recommend Walk South Wale tours!

Covid situation doesn’t make you travel easy, but Dewi does! He provided us with masks and gel since the beginning of the tour, and kept us out of crowds. Made possible the entrance to a special place just for us. He was always happy, very patient and telling nice funny stories. Knows to much, more than you can imagine. We did 2 tours with him, the Downtown Abby Day In the Costwolds Tour and a Walking tour in London. I have been in London several times but had never tried any tour. It was the best decision, passing through, so many times, in front of such history and not knowing about it won’t happen again. Thank you Dewi for making London much more interesting for us, every corner, pub, street had funny stories to tell, were part of a movie set, or something just happened there, you just can’t finish telling everything you know. Thank you!!!! Definitely coming back for some more tours with Dewi.
