Great trails for any experience level. The trails are clearly marked, so it is very easy to follow the one you want. There also a lot of shortcuts, so if you suddenly want to switch the trail, there is no problem doing that. And the price is great too! I wish I had discovered it earlier in the season!

Haliburton Highlands Nordic Trails grooms 3 trails systems: Glebe Park, Moosewoods, and Twin Lakes. We are volunteer run organization that creates great nordic skiing opportunities in the Haliburton Highlands. We DO NOT groom or maintain trails at the Pinestone resort, or the Frost Centre trails.

Mansfield Outdoor Centre

My sister and I rented the main lodge for a Halloween party where were hosted around 50 guests. Everyone had a fantastic time! The cozy cabins housed everyone comfortably, and the industrial kitchen was wonderful for cooking meals. We played baseball on one of the many fields under a beautiful oak tree, and mountain biked on their extensive trail system. There was plenty of room in the lodge for dancing, and a lovely wood stove to keep us warm. Another family member has booked her wedding at Mansfield Outdoor Center, and I can't wait to go back!

We stayed in Deer Run this weekend checking in Friday and left early this morning. The staff at the front gate were very helpful and informative along with the park rangers that made sure the campground was clean the whole weekend. Overall excellent experience and will be back in a few weeks!
