Reviewed By cate445The Village Holiday Club in Koutouloufari is superb. It is small and quaint, tucked in the hills. Very quiet, although we were there at the end of the season. The Village itself is a bustling hive of activity with more restaurants and bars than you could possibly visit in 2 weeks. Hersonissos town is a 15 minute downhill walk where you can find more shops, bars and lovely beaches as well as children's entertainment. Highly recommend this resort. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly always ready with a tip or 2 another to go and what to see. Recommend getting a car to explore the island or chase the sun if the clouds linger on the mountain

Reviewed By Passenger673160We have been before back in 2019, we booked for the year after but we were delayed by COVID, we managed to get back end of May for two weeks and what a two weeks we had! The rooms are basic, but they are comfortable, but there’s so much to do and see that you won’t spend much time in them apart from sleeping, the rooms are very clean with the maid visiting almost every day with fresh linens and towels. It’s a small place with a fantastic pool, you will never have to worry about finding a sunbed. The bar is fantastic, offering a great range of English alcohol and the local beer is refreshing and light, just what we needed after a day quad biking and sun bathing, the bar offers a few snacks like toasted sandwiches, pizza and fries. Ben the barman is fantastic, he looks after everything and nothing is too much trouble, we had a few take aways delivered to the bar when we didn’t fancy going out for food, great value and delicious. The local village is 10 mins walk and there are many beautiful restaurants and shops to pick up necessities. If you fancy a more lively night out, star beach is a 15 min walk, loads to do and places to eat too. The guests we shared our holiday with absolutely made our holiday, we had a fantastic BBQ while we stayed too, so much food, all locally sourced and cooked to perfection, all guests are welcome at the BBQ and we had a fabulous evening. If you like a bit of banter and a Raki, Ben absolutely makes this place, it’s a firm favourite for us and we will be frequent guests in the future. Many historical places to visit easily accessible by public transport, we hired a quad and had a fab time finding places to snorkel, there are some great excursions available in the local village too that are priced fairly, we did a 4hr boat trip and it was amazing!

Reviewed By laurageearMy friend and I loved staying here for a week in August. The rooms are huge, clean and modern. It is only a 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. The owner is so lovely and helpful and was available on Whatsapp. We didn't really use the pool as it was in the shade in the afternoon but the beach is less than 5 minutes walk. There is also a good size Spar and other supermarket closeby (at the petrol station). I would definitely recommend this hotel, we loved our stay in Hersonissos.

Ippoliti is very well located with lots to do and see around the area. We had many pleasant walks to the nearest village of Old Hersonissos as well as easy access to the beach (Star Beach), just a 15 minute walk away! Many exquisite Greek restaurants (some with live music too!) all around and overall hospitable people! Special thank you to the host, Lena, who very kindly welcomed us and was helpful in every way possible to insure we had a comfortable stay! - Khadija and the girls from the Netherlands

Reviewed By Maša GThe location of this place is great. Close to the sea - there are many great bars and restaurants. Close to the highway. The apartment was decent size and it was clean. The staff is very friendly. You can use the pool, but the weather was to cold for us to swim. Kitchen was not very well equipped, but you can make it work. There is no private parking, only free street parking, which can be tricky to find sometimes - even in low season.

Photos are misleading!
Reviewed By 1-just-the-truthFirstly, the standard of accommodation at this hotel is good. Reasonable size room, comfortable bed and fair for the price. The down side was that the photos of the pool area and bar etc are very ‘clever’ making it look fabulous but it is quite small actually. We booked through Booking.com - 2 x junior suites. When we checked in it was disappointing to find neither room had an external window but just internal glass doors overlooking a central area which housed the breakfast room. This meant you were completely visible in your room at all times so had to keep the curtains closed. A net curtain may have helped, but it was depressing to be on holiday and unable to open a window and more still to have to be in the dark with the lights on. Really feel this should have been pointed out when booking. The air conditioning was also insufficient - we set it to 18 degrees overnight ( it was very hot whilst we were there) but it only got down to 23 in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful though.
