Reviewed By David WWe stayed here in April 2022 returning after over two years due too covid restrictions.All the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever. The hotel is light and airy and kept spotlessly clean - congratulations housekeeping!The apartments are comfortable and well appointed with either a bath or shower The food which is buffet style is tasty with lots of choice for a 3star hotel (thanks Manolis) There are 2 rooftop terraces with a couple of sunbeds on each and terrific views over the bay and towards the mountains. Finally what can I say about Stavrula and Sofia ……they will do anything they can to give you a great stay but you need to go and find out yourself what a great little hotel this is

The facilities in all rooms are very well thought out, courtesy of Maria, and are more than adequate for all needs. The family who own the aparthotel and their staff enjoy going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their clientele. On a number of occasions we were able to enjoy music performances by Costas, Maria and a number of their friends. Costas is a professionally trained musician. We thoroughly recommend this venue for anyone wishing to stay in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, and indeed have already booked our return for next year.

Reviewed By Q2079TJ_We booked a room for 50€ per night. It was a tiny room with low ceiling that was so hidden inside that you couldn't see any sun or light. Like a proper prison cell.Full of mosquitos, one plug for everything and the air condition blowing plain air made the situation unbearable. Because it was shoved deep inside, our phones had no service, bo data and bot even the hotels intenet. When we asked the lady to do something with the internet she told us to get out of the room at the aisle. She had such nerve to tell us such a thing. All in all, never go to that place!

Apartment 1 was big,airy,clean and well equipped! The price included air conditioning too! The owners,Dinitra,Yiannis and their 2 sons are lovely. We’d get back from an evening out and be offered food and drink and would sit and chat with them! We were treated on one evening to their son playing bouzouki which was absolutely brilliant! Istron is a lovely village with some great restaurants,nearby beaches and there are beautiful places nearby to visit! Mochlos is stunning,as was Elounda and Plaka! All in all,a brilliant week in the sun. I’ll be back! Emma(Bert and Yvonne)

Reviewed By Sherpa768837Clean rooms with nice view, the location is near to the center with shops and taverns. The host was very kind and helpful ,the time of check in is 14:00 P.M but she gave us the room earlier ! I recommend it.

Some Very Good things and a minor drawback
Reviewed By chryer74The advantages of this hotel were: (1) Very good location, within 5 minutes walk from 'the lake' (2) Very helpful receptionists (3) Excellent sea view from the balconies of rooms 501 and 502. The drawback had to do with the early time in the morning (08:00) that the cleaning ladies started cleaning up rooms. Unfortunately since the started from rooms above us, and pulling furniture, we had to wake up due to noice.

Relax Studios & Apts is a family business.It is located in the center of the city of Aghios Nikolaos, in Crete. Anything you may need to purchase is less than 5 minute walk. Spacious clean rooms, most with view to the town's marina,welcoming baskets with treats waiting for you on arrival.Safety box in room on request, air conditioning,fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator.Help for renting cars or organising excursions.

Reviewed By W4369NJangelacThe Hotel is very conveniently positioned by the Marina in the town centre. It is immaculately clean, and very quiet. The Managers are attentive and helpful. There are many small restaurants and cafeneons close by, together with banks, shops, and parking facilities. The main parking is across the streets at the Marina, at only 3 euros per day. It is advisable to book towards the end of September due to the very high temperatures!!
