Amazing experience full of history!
Reviewed By Debbi DWe found this on air bnb and found it a little expensive but when we contacted the host he gave us a discount which made it reasonable. It is a perfect location across from the brewery and close to downtown. The other great thing is that parking is right out front. We didn't realize how great this was until we saw people lugging their suitcases over the cobblestone roads since very few cars are allowed in the old city. Also right across the street is a place to rent kayaks to take down the river - highly recommended. The place was great and we loved having an evening drink out on the patio and watching tthe world go by. Only negative was that it is noisy at night and very hot. The addition of a fan would cool the room down as well as dim the noise. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay!

Reviewed By f0ziafA great place to visit, requires suitable footwear as it takes a good couple of hours to cover the chateau, minerat, botanical gardens, mazes etc. If you get tired it costs about €4 pp for a ride back on the carriage. There is no your guide and it's all free to see accept there is a charge for the indoor garden and to climb the minerat...when you do the views are amazing. The toilets are spaced out so be mindful and you have to pay to.use them. There is a small cafe selling drinks, slush and ice cream but no hot food so take a packed lunch.

Reviewed By Åsah CWe like small places with not too many tourists, nice personnel, good food and breakfast and fresh rooms. Savoia residence had all that. We also have dogs and they were very welcome! It's best to have a car to get there, and we had been driving far and was in need of a rest but also wanted to see Prague. It was perfect for us!

Accommodation- average......staff......always defensive.....food in the evening great......breakfast ......non event! Will not be coming back too soon as it was average to say the least.

Our castle is more than suitable for couples as well as for families with kids or bigger groups of tourists, bikers, travellers or friends. We are only 1 hour driving to Praha! Transfer yourself into the early 18th century at the Úsobí castle. You can sit on a historical chair, browse a hundred-year-old book as well as sleep in a historical bed. We offer 4 historical apartments and 5 economy roomsfor up to 45 guests. Floor space of each apartment is from 52 to 97 m2. Each apartment has a living room, one or two bedrooms, a private bathroom and a refrigerator. One apartment has an extra kitchen corner. Each room has its own WC and a shower. There is a shared living room with a couch, two armchairs and a coffee table located in the hall and also one shared refrigerator. The castle includes a tavern called At the White Lady, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a traditional meal. If you wish to organize a celebration, the Knights and Heroes Halls offer seating space for 120 persons. The chapel of the castle is perfect for weddings. We also have a French park and an English park with a playground for kids. You can enjoy your evening in our hot tub located in the castle cellar.

Reviewed By simon_svkHotel is located directly in centrum of this village in chateau where is possible to make tourist visit. It was something interesting to have room here. Room are big & nice with traditional furniture, breakfast was very good.

What a strange place...
Reviewed By ManaPetWhat a strange place... we have had one night in there in a room which looked like something taken from an old French movie. It was quite spacious, with many paintings around and beds of the type we have not seen in any hotel for about 25 years. Plus there is a strange smell in most places. Having said that, I have to mention heating and numerous electrical outposts. Not so good was the bathroom, reasonably clean but with only one towell offered for two adults, and an ancient TV set, which was there only for decoration and had no signal. The wifi signal was very weak and unstable, and the reception and staff really confused asking us questions like: Why do you want to make use of your wifi at night? . After midnight our neighbors became quite noisy and were like that for two more hours. Having mentioned all of that I have to confess we had a good night sleep after that but I am sure you will find better services for approx the same money. if you are not crazy about sleeping at the run down "chateau," go somewhere else.
