Reviewed By simonah825All was perfect till one family ordered Mariachi and all relax was destroyed! Why? Don't understand! Anyway! Spectacular place! Is a great place to conect with the Nature. Reason why we came here! The activities are very didactic. The cabins in middle of the jungle with view to lake are great. The restaurant is very tasty! Prices from 1100 for 1 night include some activities!

Reviewed By ivaneryCabañascascadas encantadas ofrece cabañas en alto de la reserva de la biosfera Los tuxtlas,con una gran vista al lago se catemaco. Hay que rodear el lago para poder llegar hasta la comunidad de benito juarez, aproximadamente son 50 minutos desde catemaco, contando que la carretera es terraceria en un gran tramo y está no se encuentra en las mejores condiciones, pero a paso lento (si es que no trae camioneta o un 4x4),se llega sin ningún problema. Las cabañas son sencillas pero con todos los servicios. El costo de las cabañas es económico de $500 para 2 personas, cuenta con una pequeña alberca y con restaurante,donde ofrecen comida de la región a un bajo costo Vale la pena conocer los distintos lugares turísticos que se encuentran en este punto de los tuxtlas.

Reviewed By m dThese guys were great! We really wanted to raft the famous Rio Antigua, and these guys were the ones to go with. Lulu and Oscar went above and beyond all you could hope for as guides and hosts. I told them before we left the US that my Spanish kind of sucks. This was not a problem at all, and Oscar and Lulu and many others at the company speak very good English anyway. Lulu even gave us a little private tour if her hometown a few days after our stay. Will be returning, love these guys.

While it's great to have options where to go on vacation with our pets, I think it's also important to be responsible owners. This place has cabins (with a/c or fan), camping areas and a beach club; it has several rest areas and a pool with a slide, it would be great if they had a pool for doggos. Pros: It has direct access to the beach. Food prices are accessible. Large camping area with soft grass. Safe and quiet. There's a person checking in case some owner forgets to collect the "gift" of their pet. Staff is very friendly. Cons: The service is a bit slow. They don't clean the beach club toilets frequently. The hotel has 3 stray dogs without leash and they get temperamental with some dogs. Cost of the cabins seems a little bit too much. Suggestions: Go prepared with mosquito repellent, after 6:00PM there are TOO MANY!

Two cabins in an ideal place to relax with the murmur of a river and the jungle, the opportunity to stroll between long standing trees and palms, observing the birds and other animals of nature, learn the use of medicinal plants, apply soothing mud masks, bath in the river or under the nearby waterfall. A place ideal for children and even more for the elderly. Perfect for artists. And where pets are welcomed.

Excellent for people who enjoy nature and take care of it
Reviewed By andreasE3179YFBeautiful place to be in real contact with nature. If you are looking for comfort this is not the place for you because it is austere in order to take care of nature. But if you are looking for disconnecting of the city and have real contact with nature and jungle, this is the perfect place. There is not light neither internet. The use of soap is restricted just in the public bathrooms, because the cabins are on a natural spring (manantial) and crocodiles live there so they offer to the guests a natural soap (very nice soap which does not affect nature). In this place there are some scientific conservation projects for animals and plants, mostly of them in extinction. If you want to support this kind of projects you can host here.
