Not for wheelchairs /disabled guests

Reviewed By Viaggiatoredisabile4

Booked for 3 nights in DELUXE BUNGALOW, advertised as suitable for disabled, had to park far from bungalow (no parking for disabled guests and not specifically reserved per bungalow), (I am on a wheelchair) passing along overgrown pathway, we arrived at bungalow. Verandah completely hemmed in by vegetation, not a ray of light. The worktop/stove in kitchenette was so high it came just below my chin, can you imagine getting to crockery on the higher shelves! Main bedroom (French size bed) was so small I could only get on it from the foot of the bed, so had to sleep on hard divan in lounge area. Bathroom, although with excellent walk-in shower, was dangerous because there was only a handrail on the right next to wall and nothing on the left of toilet. The mirrors were so high I could only see myself if I stood up (not easy for a one-legged person!) . The beach was far..5 mins. by foot to board a small open vehicle which stopped at a main road, then across the road through another camping village, 5 more mins by foot and viola we're at the beach...Euro 25 per day for 2 deckchairs and an umbrella. Oh, forgot to mention, it cost us over Euro 70 per person per day..in 4 do some maths! Better to stay in a 4 star hotel any day. BTW the bungalow could do with a good clean and you look straight into another bungalow, never mind the fact that other guests are continuously passing in front of you. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU ARE NOT MOBILE

Quiet, spotless, authentic highly professionally run resort

Reviewed By Charly_CH

In the midst of the pandemic, where lots of complex rules and regulations must make professionally running a resort such as this very complex, we found a very well-run resort that was spotlessly clean. An impressive outcome! The campsite is combined with a broad range of small wooden cabins, integrated harmoniously. We stayed in a cabin and found it comfortable and super clean. The guests are often couples or young families and, because of the pine trees and distance from any source of noise, the environment has a beautiful vibe to it. There is sun and shade well proportioned for everyone’s taste. The beach is at less than 5 minutes walk straight from the camping, and the path there is safe and scenic. The beach is guarded and clean and, for parents with young children, only accessible through an electronic gate. For those who enjoy a quiet vacation in a beautiful environment, this is a clear hidden gem!

Very good in October (with one little issue...)

Reviewed By angangang

We spent several days here in a caravan which we wedged into a pitch close to the beach. We were there the last week they were open in October, and the weather and lack of crowds were great! Being on a clean beach in Tuscany with great weather and access to great food and wine.... It cannot get better than that. We fell asleep nightly listening to the waves. We like this low-key style of campground without a huge animation program. I think this is reflected in what we thought was a good price. If you are looking for a five-star experience with nightly entertainment, this place is probably not for you. Not many campgrounds offer direct beach access in this price range, though. We heard a rumor that our neighbors paid only 14 euro per night for their glamping tent through an internet / phone only special. The mobile homes looked great and also had good late-season prices. The one issue with this place is, as others have noted, the bathroom situation. The showers especially are small, old and moldy. Yes, they were cleaned daily; but they still smelled bad. Only a couple of the ladies toilets had seats on them. We felt that we could deal with the restrooms considering all the other great things about this place, but we understand if others see it differently. We are not sure what this place is like in high season with noise and crowds, but we really enjoyed our stay there in October.

Just back from spending a week's holiday in Grosseto. The camping village was a great place to return to in the evenings. Under the canopy of the tall pine trees we stayed in a 2 bed 2 bathroom cabin. Was clean and equipped with all the necessary items...Only a short walk through the trees you can spend your days lying on a very clean sandy beach with clear blue sea...or go visit the many traditional Tuscan towns and villages. Staff were friendly and grounds immaculate. Will definitely stay here again next year....oh and the prices were excellent hcamping village

Pigna Felice

Great Campsite

Reviewed By 149enricaf

We visited as a small family and had a dog with us, we loved it! We stayed a week in a mobile home (two rooms, each with a bathroom, and a living room + kitchenette) . Our child had a great time playing with other kids in the playground and soft play area (there is also a small arcade but not much fun) and enjoyed the animation (we went in August, there was animation from 10.30 till 12, from 4 till 5.30 and at 9.30 PM) . there are two cafes where to sit and relax, one pizza restaurant and a full restaurant, with really nice, well cooked food both very reasonable priced . the beach is only a short walk away, and the walk is very pleasant. Also, for the ones who are into sports, there are activities that can be done (horse riding, go ape, running is easy as around the campsite is flat and in very safe paths and also inside the campsite there is a calisthenic frame). Would highly reccommed!

The bungalows need better maintenance and equipment to make this a really good resort. A shame!

Reviewed By Daryl C

The staff were lovely and tried hard to be helpful. Full marks and thank you to the young lady that managed to accommodate us in 2 bungalows side by side. That made such a difference to our family holiday. Swimming pools good. Entertainment schedule good - the evening foam disco was so much fun! Sadly the bungalows need better maintenance and better equipment - no proper coffee machine only the old fashioned tiny ones that have to be warmed up on the hob, only 5 hangers supplied and no more available on request, shower that flooded the bathroom and air conditioning that leaked on the lounge floor - our floors were wet most of the time . But excellent bed which makes up for a lot! If only they renovated and better equpped the accommodation I might have thought it was worth the price. As it is I think they are overcharging. Oh and some sort of inventory or description of what there is in the units in advance would be so helpful and more efficient. I would have taken our electric coffee machine, more hangers (and possibly a floor mop?!)
