Fantastic!

We stayed at Cedar pod which can sleep up to 5. The pod is clean and cosy with so much attention to detail. Lots of blankets and cushions to snuggle watching the starry dark skies. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Lovely to wake up to sheep and cows for neighbours. Lots to do in the surrounding areas, lovely country pubs serving meals. The BBQ hut was amazing, we had a fab night for my 50th in the hut, again everything you could possibly need was provided. Fantastic hosts that clearly love and enjoy what they do. Will I stay again? Absolutely ?

Sea view and you can actually see Bamburgh castle from the site. Lots to do in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this campsite. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Communication before arrival is excellent. Arrival briefing the same. Great location with clean facilities. Whilst staying here on a busy bank holiday weekend all other guests were respectful of one another and the lovely tranquil environment. Great spot.

So a massive thanks to Lisa, Katy and the rest of the girls for all your help! Can’t wait to come back in July ❤️

As grand as the name suggests - Chatsworth Lodge

Reviewed By ilpostinopat

The Chatsworth lodge is very spacious and appointed to a high standard with nothing, we found, left to chance. A utility area to dry any dogs off with washing machine and plenty of towels throughout & also soft robes for the hub tub too The island in the kitchen is a great idea and whilst there is a dining table, the island got more use, it's like a social gathering area, lol Had a fab week, great location, the Crazy Hose saloon, on site, served good food with a fab atmosphere Thank you Paul & Jill, you have a great place

Hadrians Wall Camping and Caravan Site

Great site and fantastic owners

Reviewed By craighM947UX

We were on a coast to coast cycling holiday across Hadrian’s wall and stayed the night at this lovely camp site. Great facilities in a lovely area. Unfortunately the day after, one of us had a serious accident on the hill down to the A69 near the campsite, Whilst the injured party went to hospital, we made our way back to the campsite and Steve and Tracy could not have been kinder, giving us much needed coffee and sandwiches - we can’t thank them enough! Fully recommend a stay at this lovely site.

Weekend touring stay

Easy check-in. As we have our caravan already in storage the caravan is sited and pitched by staff ready for when you arrive. This service is also available for non storage caravans. Beautiful site with lovely large pitches. We stayed on a grass pitch as hard standing fully booked which we wouldn't normally do however, the grass pitches are lovely and private so would book grass again. Really large pitches with some with hedges for privacy. Toilets and shower blocks are lovely. An immaculate site with really helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely make this a regular thing.
