Cascades d'Akchour are located near Chefchaouen, a wonderful town in the. North of Morocco. In fact, the roite from Chefchaouen to Akchour is fantastic, you can see some beautiful landscapes of Rif Mountains. In Akchour, it is possible to do a hikking to the waterfalls. From the parking, if you walk 45minutes in the correct direction, you arrive to some little waterfalls. It is a perfect excursion to do with children and olders and at the end you can see beautiful waterfalls, while you drink a tea. Also, if you continue, in about 90minutes, you arrive to the best waterfall: a big one with a very beautiful lake, where you can relax and drink a coffe, while you see the most beautiful views of the place. This part is for adults, but not for children or olders. It is not difficult, but sometimes you need to walk on a tree trunk to pass the river or jump between rocks. The excursion is beautiful and the final waterfall is great!

Don’t miss this park. It has glorious views of the Atlantic Ocean, rare trees with trilingual signage, many picnic sites with barbecue pits and well maintained stone paths. The villa where Ion Perdicaris lived is being restored. It makes a good destination for a long walk. Along the way, you can buy snacks but you can also eat bessara and kebabs at a cafe down the road. The upscale cafe at the entrance to the park is closed for renovation.

We went Asilah after a local friend suggested and this place was worth visiting. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful houses and the art was breathtaking. Located right next to Asilah beach, just makes you feel calm. It was a perfect combination of tradition and art, in every street or house and its so simple and elegant which makes it special.

well, our family loved visiting the Moshe Nahon Tangier's Synagogue located on a dead end street in the Beni Idir Medina Quarter, according to our guide, it was constructed in the 19th century by Moïse Nahon, a prominent scholar from a Jewish family in Tangier. The synagogue ceased activity in the second half to the 20th century, and thereafter fell into disrepair until its reconquest in 1994. The prayer room of the synagogue is accessible via a small courtyard at the final of the inlet hallway. The interior is elaborately graced in an Andalusian modality. inscribe stucco walls are adored with a cyclic motif featuring frilly implant columns, trilobe hoop, and arabesques with floral and geometric peg. possibly most elegant is the Arabic calligraphy refined in three medallions vertically range below the superior ear-lap.

It was an easy hike up the mountain to the Spanish mosque which rewarded us with a magnificent panoramic view of Chefchaouen. We hiked up the back way from the car park area via a goat path near the cemetery. We hiked down a path that had steps that seemed like the more public way to go to and from. Frankly the hike up was more enjoyable. Spectacular view!

This historic town center is one of the most well-preserved in all of Morocco, exhibiting vital Islamic and Andalusian architectural detail.
The medina in Tetouan is very large and full of a wide range of stalls and shops. It would be easy to get lost without a guide and safest to explore with a guide and helpers to ensure security. You can find everything from basic items and live chickens to fresh fish and meats and a wide range of clothing, leather goods and jewelry. You must bargain and negotiate a price - it is expected. You will see no dogs in the medina but will encounter a large number of small, black and white cats. The medina is lively and has a pulse. What we could not fully appreciate is how the medina relates to housing in the area and nearby. We kept moving with our guide through the medina, but did stop at a few shops and also watched as things were being measured and sold. We wish we would have had more time to explore. It was the best and most interesting medina we visited.
