Walhalla Brewery and Taproom

Walhalla is an Amsterdam-based microbrewery and taproom, founded in 2016. Our mission is to brew the ales of the gods, bold and magical beers, thirst-quenching and pure. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, we opened the doors of our new brewery and taproom in the vibrant North of Amsterdam. We have a constantly changing beer selection on draft, a beautiful bottle collection and a range of locally sourced snacks. Keep an eye on our events page for brewery tours, special releases and other divine entertainment!

Dutch Craft Beer company Walhalla just opened their new Taproom and Brewery, they have delicious, prize-winning beers on their 12 (!) taps and have some nice Dutch cheeses and sausages to snack. IPA's, Pale Ale's, Porters, Wheat beer, you name it, they have it. You can see the brewery from inside the taproom and they will start doing tours soon. If you're not sure what to drink, ask the bar-lady to advise you and you can always do some tasting before you decide which beer to choose!

Brouwerij de Prael

Stumbled across this fantastic brewery right in the heart of Amsterdam which also provided a tour of its fully functioning and producing brewery. Tour guide was friendly, fun, really informative and shared some really interesting facts about Amsterdam history and brewing. Well worth a visit and that’s before you round off the tour in the bar with an included beer, the “bartenders sampling board” is well worth trying 4 of these great beers in one hit :).
